Re: Agustien gone

The fact that kemys agents have asked for hotels etc is completely beyond me. It's all very strange! - as too is the social media etc. Managers talk and I doubt these guys will be operating very long if this is how they conduct business. On the plus side you're no longer the most talked about agent...

Re: Win a Match Ticket & Bluebirds Trust Calendar

Like most Ormsgill lads I started going to Holker Street thanks to the legend that is Dave Martin. He used to buy numerous season tickets every season and take children from the estate to home games for free. He was like the Pied Piper wandering through Ormsgill with more kids joining his tribe as h...

Re: FA Trophy

Always blows my mind the fact people will happily spend £80+ on travel, food, booze etc for an away day then moan about a couple of quid here or there on the gate.

I disagree. I think a lot of season ticket holders will be unwilling to pay £15 when they normally get in for approx. £10/game.
Those season ticket holders will then have to spend the entirety of Saturday doing christmas shopping with their wives/husbands, and soon regret their decision.

Re: Another poor crowd today

Game against Chesterfield in August where we won 3-2 (2 sendings off), 5 out of town contractors from the yard came, I asked them about it and they said they enjoyed the game and the beer tent was still up back then, so having a drink around the ground was a novelty, (Granted they aren't here for t...

Just £88 short of £15k. If everyone online right now contributed £2, the trust would hit the £15k mark tonight!

Fantastic effort so far by everyone involved

You can keep track of how the target is going by visiting: https://www.bluebirdstrust.co.uk/totaliser/

This is only updated manually so actual figure raised may be higher than displayed, but it gives a good idea.

Payed for my contribution online via the link. Quick and easy to do and an instant email confirmation of my order. Come a heck of a long way in the space of a fortnight. Well done to all those that have put in the many hours of hard work and brought it thus far. Just need us to make our donations t...

Re: Thoughts - Pay what you want

a guy I know on the Pop Side who is 80, buys a season ticket and pays to get in every home game. True Grit. Massive respect to that gentleman. That's some support that. :scarf: Dave Martin is a life patron, but for years used to buy himself a season ticket and another 5 or 6 which he'd give out for...

Re: BARROW V BARNET match thread

We were awful. No plan B, not much of a plan A really... I can only assume the team are forbidden by management from crossing the ball into the box, lost count of the amount of times a ball could have been played in and asked some different questions only for possession to be lost. It seems weird th...

Re: Barrow v Gateshead

Infuriating last night at times. For the first 25 minutes we were among the best I've seen us, pressed everything, probed relentlessly and moved it about pulling Gateshead absolutely all over. They changed shape a bit after that and were happy for us to keep the ball in and spray it around the middl...

Re: Barrow v Maidenhead.

Good result yesterday against a Maidenhead side who've been in not bad form. They were a big strong side, and you could tell they had a directive to be physical and try and bully some of the younger smaller players, but credit to them they didn't shy away. Excellent goals again, the second one was r...
