Re: Today’s Game

Shambolic and shameful by Dover in equal measures today. Even putting aside the ridiculous set off time for a game so far away, they were in Crewe train station having got off the train before 1.15pm. Thats about 2 hours by road to Barrow, could have jumped in 8 seater taxis, arranged a coach or sta...

Apparently theres been a suicide on the line
Sad as that may be (and it is of course very sad), it shouldn't be any negating factor in what a shambles it is for Dover to be setting off at 9.30 from London for a 3pm in Barrow...

And this shower of shite are to be our last bastion of UK values on the border to the evil EU. Can't even use booking.com the useless [SwearFilter] schleppers, what hope have we got.

Re: Barrow v Harrogate

We were shit. Shape was bad, movement was bad, first touch was bad, second touch if we got that far was usually worse... Harrison isolated and static up front with Kay and Angus constantly half a mile away from him on either touchline, midfield overrun and bereft of a gameplan, defence that any oppo...

Superb; sure this must have far exceeded what the trust could have imagined
I believe 500 was viewed as an ambitious initial target.

Re: Agustien gone

The fact that kemys agents have asked for hotels etc is completely beyond me. It's all very strange! - as too is the social media etc. Managers talk and I doubt these guys will be operating very long if this is how they conduct business. On the plus side you're no longer the most talked about agent...

Re: Win a Match Ticket & Bluebirds Trust Calendar

Like most Ormsgill lads I started going to Holker Street thanks to the legend that is Dave Martin. He used to buy numerous season tickets every season and take children from the estate to home games for free. He was like the Pied Piper wandering through Ormsgill with more kids joining his tribe as h...

Always blows my mind the fact people will happily spend £80+ on travel, food, booze etc for an away day then moan about a couple of quid here or there on the gate.

I disagree. I think a lot of season ticket holders will be unwilling to pay £15 when they normally get in for approx. £10/game.
Those season ticket holders will then have to spend the entirety of Saturday doing christmas shopping with their wives/husbands, and soon regret their decision.

Re: Another poor crowd today

Game against Chesterfield in August where we won 3-2 (2 sendings off), 5 out of town contractors from the yard came, I asked them about it and they said they enjoyed the game and the beer tent was still up back then, so having a drink around the ground was a novelty, (Granted they aren't here for t...
