Re: Statement by Paul Casson.

Good response crom the boss. 7th is not good enough. Puts the emphasis back on COX. Did he do well enough? Was the style good enough...nope. Cox is not all sweetness and light. Cox has only had 5 games this season and before Dagenham he lost a major player in Bennett with little time to get a repla...

Re: The Next Barrow Manager

I think a lot of managers would be put off coming here because of the situation with Ogden being effectively the link between the manager and the chairman. Any new manager seemingly won't have full control over player signings and that won't be acceptable to some prospective new managers who won't o...

Re: Fifth Game Review

A fantastic result at Dover, on the radio it sounded like we are getting back to the purple patch we went through last season. Though we are 4 games unbeaten I can't help but feel slightly worried. How at this stage of the season can we only have 15 players (including a GK on the bench)? I have rea...

Re: Q&A. Friday 11th August.

This is [SwearFilter] typical of a response from a club director, cancel a Q&A session and hastily post at short notice saying well the players and Casson were there to answer questions when it was just announced as a Meet & Greet with the players. A number of us who were going to go to the Q&A ses...

Re: Q&A. Friday 11th August.

No double booking Lisa, probably just cars of people attending the Q&A. Six players & Paul Casson there to answer questions Graham. This is [SwearFilter] typical of a response from a club director, cancel a Q&A session and hastily post at short notice saying well the players and Casson were there t...

Re: Away at Solihull Moors

If there is any problem at all just swap the fixtures round. We'd be swapping a Saturday home game for a Tuesday home game when crowds are lower and many are also on holiday at present here. There is also the issue of getting match sponsors and hospitality, not to mention stewards, turnstile operat...

Re: Advance tickets

John i think you have lost it on this one, what i being proposed is easy. Why are you trying to make this sound so difficult. Going on what has been posted so far, there was no mention of what would happen to tickets and getting back in if you go out at HT. It's clearly not so straightforward as I ...

Re: Q&A. Friday 11th August.

Agreed that we need some questions asking and answering about the longer term sustainability of the club. Shame the likes of a former member of this forum etc, who have the articulacy to do so, never seem to attend these events to ask them. It keeps changing so any answer we get we'll probably get ...

Re: Advance tickets

May have missed it but if I've read it correctly is that those with printed-off tickets will have them taken off us at the turnstiles when we go in?
If this is the case then we'll be unable to leave the ground to go to the Cross Bar at HT as we won't have any ticket to get back in?

Re: Paul Ogden

Maybe people can ask questions at the meet the manager / owner night on Tuesday If I remember rightly Cox was having a good moan about having to do everything when he lost his assistant Irrespective of what Cox thinks nothing bad will be said to make it sound like there's any problems at the club a...

Re: Today's game vs the Daggers

That difference being one goal away from home against a side strongly tipped as one of the very best in the league. Were you at the game yesterday Hadrian? First half we were woeful - other people who were there have made the same point. Organisationally, it was a bit of a mess. Players running int...

Re: Paul Ogden

I'm sure Paul Casson (yes I know! )said at the meeting in the crossbar that after the fa cup run the loss was about £220,000 still a lot but not as bad as people like to think or in some cases seem to want! I was at the Fans Forum and Paul Casson mentioned it was less than the 990K loss from the pr...
