Will contributors to the Trust’s share fundraiser be allowed to attend or will the Trust send someone on our behalf (as well as yourself)?
Open forum I believe, but to be confirmed at the Board meeting.
Ok, thanks 👍

I personally think the appropriate forum for questions like this one is an AGM.

Mark Waddington in a little kayak on the resser too, like that fella that used to patrol the River Severn when Shrewsbury played at Gay Meadow.

To be fair we have a reduced budget
Budget is the same as last year and presumably we still have some pennies to spend as we thought we were getting Sam Graham in until he buggered off to Notts County (unless SG was a Sheff Utd freebie??)

Re: Chesterfield FC (A) match thread

Do we have any statto types who could tell us how many points Evatt teams have a) won from behind versus b) dropped from being in front? FWIW, we’ve lost Barthram, RND, Jones and Jameson from the squad who featured regularly in defence last season. The early changes in formation and shuffling person...

Re: Photos of ground developments

The company for a phoenix club has already been set up and they will be looking to stay at Gigg Lane so screwdrivers down for now.

Hopefully Bury will be saved in the next few hours.

Re: Music over PA

Still can't beat the Ole ole ole ole song that was played before the teams entered the field in the 80s. This one? https://youtu.be/Y8aIvD4N8GM Halcyon days. Not bothered what we play when they run out as we have no real tradition or club song etc. Music after goals can get in the bin, just next to...

Re: Wrexham v Barrow

Should have been 3-0 or 3-1 up at half time. Daft free kick to give away for the first. Poor defending for the second or a good team effectively isolating an opponents weakness?

On we go.

Re: Barrow v Blackpool

There was no where near a thousand Barrow fans there 😮 nor 400 Blackpool Don't they have to pay some sort of tax on the numbers attending, so can't see it being overstated, particularly with an accountant as Chairman. ;) You pay VAT on gate receipts, not the attendance. Otherwise even fewer clubs w...

ATT 470 there were 14 from wukkie
Decent turn out by their standards, every credit.

Good luck to them for the coming season in the West Cumberland Premier League or whatever league it is they are in now. I’m sure Agent McKay will be chief witness to yet another fine season.

Quote from IE: "Clueless in the final third" Exactly like last year! Early days but he needs to get some inspiration from somewhere as I think it will be a make or break season for him. Hope he makes it but not so sure. I know they'd lost but no sparkle or emotion in his voice in that interview. Co...
