I don’t think anyone wants to dismantle the defence - but two of them aren’t ours and the rest are out of contract at the end of the season, bar Elsdon, notwithstanding any ‘options’ we may have on them.

There’s the loanees that will need to be replaced for a start; then there’s plenty of contracts expiring - some we’ll be wanting to keep, some that need to be waved off to the Evostik.

Who knows what’ll happen?

Personally I think we’ll start next season with 8-9 new players in the first team.
