Re: Ground grading

Yes, the Crown Ground (Wham Stadium, if you must) has been developed sensibly and effectively since we were last there. It now has over three thousand seats with standing for a couple of thousand more. A decent example of what may be achieved.

Re: Fylde Approach for IE

Looking at the gaffers playing career, it's pretty obvious he is a dedicated loyal professional. He has taken a risk with us, a challenge too.. I get the feeling he knows that barrow has potential, can get the town back on side, get feet through the turnstiles. I hope I'm right thinking this but I ...

Re: Backroom staff

I thought it was a perfectly reasonable question, too, and would be interested in the "behind the scenes" stuff, including the work of the data analyst.

Thanks for the info, Ruins.

Re: Forum Poll- Man Of The Match v Boreham Wood

Tyler Smith's loan last season was supposed to last into the new year; it didn't.

Depends upon the nature of any recall clause that may be included in the loan agreement.

Re: Home Attendances

A team playing the football I've seen Barrow playing at Woking, Aldershot and Ebbsfleet should easily be able to command home attendances around 2,000. Barrow rugby averaged 1,389 even as a chopping block in a mostly semi-professional league which, once again, demonstrates that Barrow is one of the...

Something which needs to be sorted out is the amount of yellow cards we have had recently
We went top of the 'cards table' in the NLP last week.

As has been pointed out, suspensions kick in.

Re: P Hornby's Friday BBB RC Interview

Read what he's saying that "they wrote off £3m of debt " infering that that's what the previous owners left not what they spent themselves! Surely "they wrote off £3m of debt" means that the former owners wrote off the £3m that they had put into the company as loans for improvement, working capital...

Not even mentioned on RC sports bulletin this morning.
Nor it seems at 12:30 and 13:05; wondered if I had missed something. (Capable of doing so!)

Surely BBCRC know about it, irrespective of publicity for general public?

Re: P Hornby's Friday BBB RC Interview

There's a limit to the amount of detail that an organisation can sensibly make. I might think we should know how much the club is paying for pies and draft beers or how much is being spent upon non-football staff, which sponsors are paying how much and receiving exactly what in return. But perhaps t...

Re: Chesterfield FC (A) match thread

The goals came - at least in part - from mistakes on our part and while they were avoidable they are exactly the sort of mistakes you are likely to find at our level. Not sure they would be easy to eradicate completely. The defence yesterday was pretty strong with Taylor organising effectively as we...
