Did he say we would lose £500k or that’s what we need to find from sponsorship etc?
He said 500k loss and that the average gates of1360 (or there abouts) needs to improve.

Re: Barrow v Harrogate

Dissapointing, but hay ho saturday is another day. Good crowd though hopefully it can be maintained, as Paul mentioned in the program, the club stand to lose 500k this season, so it was annoying to hear a Scottish guy giving the turnstyle guy some flack coz he had to pay 3 quid each for his kids.

Re: BARROW V Boreham wood match thread

The school kids weren't as arsed this week, Saturday Premier League was back, and it wasn't as warm. Seriously, this premier league obsession people link to our crowds. What game? and where were they all watching it? at 3pm its pretty easy to stream 3 pm games nowadays, for example united/watford. ...

Re: Home Attendances

Lack of atmosphere is a main contributor here. Just watching Watford v Palace cup tie. All ages, all around the ground getting behind their team. A great matchday atmosphere. We can’t manage any atmosphere at home games. Going around in circles here I know, but a better fan atmosphere on matchday w...

Re: Fan Reaction to the Q&A Friday

Hi, wasnt number 3 answered last time? pretty sure Paul Horny mentioned a line in the sand, and that Paul casson hadn't asked for anything. Video might still be on Youtube.

Re: BARROW V Halifax match thread

One of those games today too many players had an off day as for criticism of the crowd (for those on here who weren't there)It was really cold and we didn't produce one shot on target and loads of misplaced passes I defy anyone to say that you can get excited over that it was really poor and some p...

It was grim. A terrible football match and I don't recall a single shot on target from either side.
Exactly this, biggest bug bear from the new owners appears to be attendance and match day income. Not one shot on target today. Appart from the core fans, what is the appeal??

Re: Agustien

Good old Google translate (although it's not always accurate mind!), below are some extracts from an interview from some Dutch site today, which he also posted an extract on twitter. Seems like he's here at the moment, but can't blame him for aiming for the higher leagues especially now he's 32 and ...

Re: Agustien

Update from the interview today from Adam (excellent commentary btw from yourself and Matt) to the manager, is he (kemy) going to stay? "don't know" when asked why he was substituted "think his heads everywhere else except at this football club"

Re: Flyde v BARROW match thread

Good game and great atmosphere. Hopefully Kemy is ok as he was limping a bit at the end when he came over to clap. Nice set-up down there also, such as the restaruant/bar etc, seems crazy that BAE systems appear on their main web page as Community Foundation Principle Partner sponsorship (which link...

Re: Agustien

He's in the shop window here and we are admiring what we see so others will be doing the same. If we keep Kemy it will be to the credit of the manager and his team. If we lose him we thank him, praise him for his efforts and reluctantly let him progress his footballing career at what is sure to be ...

Evatt seemed to imply post-match that Kemy was willing to stay, just needs to get the agreement "over the line".
Lets hope that happens

Agustien

He was subbed later on against Fylde but surely one of the stand-out performances of the two recent games (especially the epic second goal against Salford,as well as holding his own for most of the game), also the playmaking ability he has from the midfielded. Any idea how long we can keep this guy ...
