27 league goals in 56 appearances says a lot for the kind of striker he is
That’s what his record is for us
32 goals in 62 appearances in all competitions
Provide him the service and he will score goals
Do you know how many were penalties?

What was the final score?
2-1. We'll be lucky to stay in this league.

Rochdale took 1 day to appoint a manager last time round. It's an annual thing for them so they must be pretty slick.
Other than the fact he'd been there for 6 years, spot on.

Re: Havant v BARROW match thread

I always thought it was going to be a game too far today - we played some top sides over the last couple of weeks and did better than anticipated. Still better off than most of us expected us to be at this stage.

Re: Ian Evatt

I thought the money to take over the club was to pay us through to the end of the season? If so, of course we're losing money and I didn't think anyone expected anything else?

In the last 4-5 weeks or so, the corporate has been spruced up, there's a new can bar, pies.
Apologies for stripping your post but how has this been sold to the people who don't come on here and don't normally go in anyway?

Re: BARROW V Eastleigh

Only seen us twice this year (Chorley and today) but we just look quite limited and the system doesn't really work. Defence is poor, Brown in particular. Midfield is non-existent - none of them influence the game in any meaningful way or are available to play any kind of passing game. We're so slow ...

With regard to the earlier post about Accrington. They were in League Two last season. They won the title this is their first back in League One, not second.
And they're owned by a wealthy man. He does appear to run the club well, but I'm sure the sponsorship from his company helps.

I'm not saying he's the right man and don't necessarily disagree but when have we ever had a 'footballing man' in charge?
Ray Wilkie.
Sorry, the point was about running the football club, not being manager.
