Re: Fan Reaction to the Q&A Friday

From the details I have(which was the details up to 2013/14) the club receives 62.5% of the amount collected and from that they had to pay collectors commissions and expenses. This tended to bring the average 'profit' down to about 50% due to most people still paying cash and having to have collect...

Re: Fan Reaction to the Q&A Friday

The ground board is just the usual board manufacture cost. I can’t remember how much they cost to manufacture to be honest and it also depended on the size. Again, I can’t remember how much that lottery cost to run but a general rule of thumb is about 66p profit for every £1 played. Depends on the ...

Re: Home Attendances

I think the problem is the people who attend regularly or post on here or follow all the news about the club in whatever way they can (Mail, Radio Cumbria etc) are all living in the 'BAFC Bubble' - the other 95% of the local population dont live int he bubble and bascially dont care except for the o...

Re: Eventbrite

A man's got to live, hopefully he pays hid his way unlike Princess Eugene who has no official duties but managed to get the £2 million security paid for by Joe public, I feel a Royal Referendum coming on Yes but originally because it was for charity he stated "The company will only receive our costs...

Re: Eventbrite

Eventbrite is owned by princess Ann's son they organised the queens 90th birthday parade down the mall charging people £150.00 for the pleasure, it was supposed to be for charity he said he would only take a nominal fee for the pleasure, it was revealed later he pocketed seven hundred and fifty tho...

Definitely smacks of a double account, you wouldn't put your full name as your username and thus it sounds like the name of a football manager regen.

Really :?:

Re: The best Left Full-Back in our Non-League days?

Went to see Barrow play Barnet a long, long time ago - Chilts was given the absolute run around by a player who later went on to play for Chelsea (can't remember his name, someone will no doubt) The home support gave Chilts as much stick as I've ever seen a player get (all good humoured) and to thi...

Re: Jordan Williams

The Vic's still exist and our supporters association are in the process of purchasing the club from the administrator. We were relegated into the northwest counties at the end of last season. Well done to Jordan and the way how he has progressed, was outstanding for us Just wondering Longlivethevic...

Re: Barrow v north Ferriby match thread

They are terrible for a reason. A village team, no investment, low crowds. They have done great to be where they are. They played more football than we did Fact. Give them some respect instead of a cheap shot. We have a millionaire owner who has put no investment in, apart from a new boiler for hot...

Re: Maidstone Match Thread

I predict this degenerating slowly into a morass of pish (if that's possible) as a former member of this forum enlivens his shift by upsetting middle aged men who should know better, occasionally including me Actually in the case of this middle aged man, a former member of this forum is no problem ...

Re: Maidstone Match Thread

I guess i must be missing the obvious then. My view is that to survive and progress in the football league will take more expenditure on the ground, playing staff, off field staff, general infrastructure, travel, training etc - Yes there will be additional income from TV deals and a probable short ...

Re: Maidstone Match Thread

I would be interested to see the evidence and facts behind that assumption. My educated guess would be it would certainly cost more to run a football league club that a National League one. Whether the additional income from being in this league covered those costs is impossible to tell at the mome...

Re: Maidstone Match Thread

Theres a few fans who seem to think the club could run in the FL solely on TV money. Theres sadly not a lot being put in place to aid the running of the club at the moment, Paul Cassons cash injections will one day run out. It would not cost anymore to run in the Football League , than it does in t...
