Lucky boy that big lad up front. Definite red card candidate, that.

Re: York City v Barrow

Flares again ! When will the idiots realize it's not acceptable. Hope they are caught and get football banning order from every ground in the country Give over it's only a flare. Trying to generate some atmosphere #NoToModernFootball When you have to generate an atmosphere by firing a flare (or wha...

Re: Lump on Barrow

I've placed £400 on Rochdale at even money. Hopefully come Saturday evening the celebratory beers will be on me. Hopefully the bookies have my money waiting so I can get out of the ground and collect ASAP. Nice of you to donate to the bookie. You'll be collecting fresh air This is why bookies drive...

I can see why you don't post much.

The quality of discourse has gone downhill markedly since I left it would seem.

Re: Where's Reg?

I've been away since Bayliss went mental on the radio and that bald bloke from up the coast lied about the conciliatory meeting between the manager and a supporter involved and I have barely missed it at all. I'm pleased for a handful of the true fans that trek up and down the country watching the t...

Re: press box pete

Like Kieran, I got to know Pete pretty well during the Turnbull era. We lost touch down the years but it was always a pleasure to bump into him in random places and have a catch up. Sincere condolences to Pete's family if they're following this thread and also thinking of Phil Solloway, who to the b...

Re: Edmo to Mansfield?

Look at the facts. DE had a moderate career at Workington and is now in the process of falling over the line in a one horse race. It's hard to see why that CV would make him favourite for a league two job but football seems to have a habit of having people in charge that make illogical decisions so...

Re: Radio Coverage

Worked for a long time with Dave, he's a good lad.

Didn't seem to give much of a shit about the soccer like, but he's a good lad.

I heard him refer to Barrow as 'us' on the radio tonight when I was in the car.

Made my toes curl slightly.

Re: Simon Grand

Shock horror a player misses a Barrow game to attend a wedding, get real people it`s one game Edmo allowed players to miss games at Workington to go on holiday during the season, we really think we are something now,if Edmo says you will not be picked for the next couple of games then people would ...

When they were factory workers getting some extra pocket money from football, I would completely agree.

When they're getting a full time wage for a very part time job, I'm inclined to agree with Kieran.

Ok I have a photo of him on my wall that I bow down to every night and shout out " he is smart, he is cool, I saw him walking across a swimming pool, has anyone seen PC ? " I've also started speaking with a mid Atlantic accent but Reg does this really make me obsessed with Paul Casson ? I love the ...

How did you manage to see your keyboard with your head stuck so far up the great leaders anus?

The blokes doing well but he's not Churchill, Nelson or Montgomery!
