Re: Striker Required

I'd feel a lot happier with another 6 points on the board and the sooner the better

Re: Another poor crowd today

There are so many different reasons for this I'll only refer to one of them. Back in the 60's when I started going the world was a very different place with few other distractions and far less mobility. The catchment area is huge and these days whether you travel 5 miles or 100 miles you need to eit...

Re: what next?

Do people really think the manager will "get it right".. I wish it was different but it is what it is. He appears to be stubborn, has no plan B and has a great bunch of lads who sadly don't seem to be able to scrap. Will we still be playing pretty football and losing in a months time? Is it wrong to...

Re: what next?

play well or play crap they are still all defeats. Ebbsfleet seems to have been a one off but there have been numerous home defeats where we just weren't at the races. That is down to the manger. The manager might be very unlucky but if he keeps losing then at some stage he will have to go. We have ...

Re: what next?

not simply 6 "bad" results its six bad defeats and can't really see any desire to change the way we play.

Agree not yet time to sack BUT how much longer can we leave it?

We could be in the bottom four on saturday

Re: what next?

no idea and not my job to find someone.

But anyone can see that it is getting to "same old" each game and we keep losing.

What do you suggest we do? Stick with the manger for ever?

Re: what next?

Whichever end of the pitch they are all the managers players he brought in. I really hope he turns it round I'm simply asking whether we simply let things happen with potential relegation or at what stage do we think about a change. 10 consecutive defeats? 12, 14 16 ...... We are on a very bad run p...

Re: what next?

I share your view but with each loss I can't help myself thinking is the manager learning anything from the results since he still has the same players and apparently no plan B. He has an experienced man beside him but it still isn't working. I really thought we would do reasonably well this year bu...

what next?

Well the owner has upped sticks and to be fair there are some terrific people trying very hard to set up a new regime and good luck to all involved. We have a rookie manager who wants to play passing football but seems to have no plan B. This can be a very harsh league and teams need some beasts and...

Re: New Signings

We’re having trouble defending we’re having trouble scoring, so doesn’t seem to make a lot of sense bringing in yet another midfielder 🤔 It does when we now have 3 centre halves and 3 strikers back from injury and a midfield that sometimes flatters to deceive. Hard workers but need a bit more quali...

Re: Ebbsfleet v Bluebirds

I suppose it is inevitable when with a small squad we are missing our first choice 2 centre halves and 2 strikers through injury.

I wonder what a difference would have been made if Granite & Elsdon together with Turner and Blyth had been available?

Re: Club Statement: New Chairman - Paul Hornby

All of those other clubs you have mentioned were in a far better position than we are in terms of geography, fan base etc and lets not kid ourselves not one of them would have been bailed out without much more than the 3 or 4 million Paul Casson has thrown at it. We all moan and groan but he has sho...
