Re: Man on pitch with gun

He was from a pest control company apparently.

However, the club didn't inform the drama group that were using the Cross Bar for rehearsals which then led to members of the group locking themselves in and telephoning 999.

As ever with the club, a lack of communication causes chaos.

Re: Where do we go from here

I keep reading the doom mongers saying "Holker Street will be sold for houses"...who are the mystery developers waiting to buy? Add up the financial and legal implications: Purchase cost, apply for change of use, removal of sports facility, buy out the garage where the bluebird club was, demolition...

Re: Barrow v Macclesfield Town match thread

Macc were the better team. Midfield struggled and many of players kept slipping including Diarra in the build up to their first goal. Gomis was as busy as ever trying o make something happen. I was disappointed with Yussuf and Harrison although they struggled for service for most of the game. White ...

Re: Stewards and police

as someone has stated, what happens when Wrexham come to town in Barrow fans will get arrested and banned as usual. Undercover Barrow police were in the away today too. I’m not that arsed about the Mac fans behaviour but the lack of action from the police and stewards in comparison to their behavio...

Stewards and police

Diabolical stewarding and policing today. Macclesfield fans were throwing objects, letting off flares, drinking in the terraces, running in the pitch, jumping over the wall repeatedly and too drunk to walk. At one point two police officers walked past them as they were falling into the pitch and did...

Re: Barrow v Aldershot match thread

Excellent performance. There was a real desire to win the ball and make something happen. They made a point of celebrating goals as a team and perhaps the bad apples have gone? Stand out performers for me were Hughes, Gomis and Harrison. Apparently Hornby and Pennock already know each other so the ...

Re: Shaw Lane v Barrow Match Thread

Everything a former member of this forum says and has been saying is correct. Ridiculous that he keeps getting banned because people throw abuse at him. No place for personal abuse unless it is directed at him. Usually I'd agree but today he deserved the ban. He knew what he was doing and the respo...
