Good call under the current circumstances.

But...could we not have sent the reserve team?
An opportunity to test them as a good group of youngsters?
That's exactly the point - we couldn't!

Re: Lancashire FA Senior Cup

Which begs the question, why were we in this in the first place if it's so easy to withdraw?

No way is Waddington a defensive midfielder.

Re: Home v Sutton United

One position we don't really have an adequate replacement. Surely Evatt will be dipping into the loan market during this little break.

Was it not only if people requested a refund by a specific date?

Re: Fylde Approach for IE

Great news on the new contract. Does anyone know the length of the deal or is it simply a case of improved terms? No change to length I believe, just payment His agent (?) Steve Whiston on Twitter says "improved and extended". Wasn't the third year of his contract optional on Barrow's part? Presuma...

Re: Fylde Approach for IE

Just read that the fylde chairman is very disappointed that barrow went public about his approach fo IE , the cheeky bastad can go and stick his head where the sun don't shine He said that he was "disappointed that Barrow have gone down that road". But it's okay for him to tell the press whose bids...

Re: Today’s Game

How's this for a bit of reverse conspiracy. We will still be in an international qualifying window in November (both in Europe and beyond). By resetting the Dover game for a month backwards it is quite possible that those of their players that were unavailable for Saturdays fixture (Ricky Modeste e...

I think SE means that the London to Weymouth trains leave from Waterloo - them southerners know that sort of stuff..
Ha, well point still stands - they won't leave it till the last possible train again.

If they set off from Euston they would have problems! :D
They argued that all their players are London based, that's why they couldn't get the bus from Dover.

Re: Fylde Approach for IE

I don't think Fylde are playing games, it's pure arrogance to think they can wave a wad of cash at the most highly-rated manager in the league and he'll come running.

Re: Today’s Game

I’m not sure that’s true Moribund; I’ve seen plenty of other teams fans condemning Barrow fans for being so annoyed at the game being off As for the costs, they’ll receive a full refund on their train tickets anyway They're not aware of any of the facts, probably just whatever nonsense Dover have p...

Re: Today’s Game

Their forum is fill of folk insulting our lack of intelligence and conflating our attitude to the postponement with racist Hartlepool fans a few weeks ago, lumping it together in a 'Northern' box with the usual mindless and bigoted drivel. Only a small number of Dover fans can't comprehend why we'r...
