Re: Fylde Approach for IE

A conspiracy theorist (which I am not ;)) might think that Fylde would know that IE wouldn't be going anywhere but let's ask anyway as at least it may rock the boat at Barrow a bit.

Re: Fylde Approach for IE

Another reason to dislike Fylde. Tinpot, Mickey Mouse, Johnny-come-lately club with ideas above their station! ;)

Re: Today’s Game

Forgetting all the smokescreen stuff, the bare fact is that Dover we’re relying on a 7 minute connection time to get to Barrow by 1.05. Odds of that working out ok must be about 10-1! If they miss the connection, they get to Barrow station at 2.04, so when does a party of 20 or more get to the groun...

Re: Today’s Game

I see some surprise on the Dover fans forum at seeing them at Euston at 9am. Also confirmation (alleged) that players gave up at Crewe.

Re: Today’s Game

There should be a requirement by the league that a club's travel plan should demonstrate that they have allowed for an arrival no later than (eg) 3 or 4 hours before kick off. It is not unreasonable to expect a team to arrive in Barrow by 12 noon, especially if travelling by rail. It even makes sens...

Re: Today’s Game

Just looked at my train planner. The 9.30 from Euston should arrive in Barrow at 13.05, but that is change at Lancaster with just 7 (seven!) minutes to catch the connection. I would never risk a connection with such a fine margin. Absolute madness to plan a journey like that!

Re: FA Cup 4th Qual Draw

Darlington would suit me fine, just 20 minutes walk to their ground! Spennymoor just a 20 minute drive. I wonder if their pitch still slopes.? And is Jason Ainsley still their manager?
