Was that the game when the linesman was flattened in the first minute and Niall Cowperthwaite received a bad injury? The fourth (or was it fifth?) official indicated something like 17 minutes added time in the first half. Red hot day was August 2012. Linesman flattened game was just after holt sign...

Re: New Teams next season - who do we want?

Only really ‘want’ Notts County, Yeovil and Chelmsford as I’ve done the rest of them.

Re: Ground Maintenance Area

I painted those toilets in the away end about 18 years ago - surely they don’t need doing again already!?!?

Not only that , they plead for callers or texters from Barrow and nobody responds, pathetic really. Do they not respond, or does Carlisle take precedence as it always does They’ve always read out stuff they receive, as long as it’s readable ime. Seems to be the way these days, phone ins on local rad...

Re: Hartlepool fancy dress last home game

No, it wasn’t. At least this time we’ll know how many are coming so we can plan properly. Darlo was more fluid as their situation was unravelling through the week up to the game. Ok I mean the club managed it well on the day with not knowing exactly how many would turn up. It was pay on the gate an...

I would try and sign both jameson and nozza.
Same here - do you think their parent clubs would like them to have another season at this level or move them up to L2?

Last time we had over 1000 away fans was Darlington and it was well managed

Re: Hartlepool fancy dress last home game

There’s three options, I suppose it depends on how many more tickets they want. Leave it as it is. Extend like we were looking at last night. Give up the whole end. I think it will all depend on how sales (or tickets asked for) go in the coming days. Give them the whole end but make Hartlepool unde...

Re: Hartlepool fancy dress last home game

Can the fence just be unscrewed and moved further along the terrace? Or removed completely for this game?

Re: Hartlepool fancy dress last home game

let’s not forget we did manage a big 1000+ Darlington following and a full house in the cup a few seasons ago, so we do have experience to draw upon. That Darlington game we ended up opening the emergency exits to get people off Wilkie Road and into the ground! IIRC a young gentleman graciously vol...

Re: Hartlepool fancy dress last home game

Can the cross bar cope surely with 500 away fans (if it happens) there is an opportunity for some kind of makeshift bar in the away and It’s a good idea but realistically where could we put a bar in the away end? Shame they don’t still go in the crossbar end, could get the tent back There’s a small...

Re: Fan Reaction to the Q&A Friday

A look at the Wrexham sites on the Gold Bond lottery is worth gleaning as well. It is clearly well established there and so take what you can from the promotional methods they use. Maybe not - their GB income fell from £14k to £11k in their most recent accounts for 2017/18, making a profit of £7872.
