The ground board is just the usual board manufacture cost. I can’t remember how much they cost to manufacture to be honest and it also depended on the size. Again, I can’t remember how much that lottery cost to run but a general rule of thumb is about 66p profit for every £1 played.
Thank you

Re: Fan Reaction to the Q&A Friday

the club has to pay for the ground boards (Gold Bond themselves don’t advertise). I also spoke to a freelance lottery canvasser who was ready and willing to start Can you remember how much the boards were? And how much the club would receive per £ after the Gold Bond and the Canvasser took their cut?

Has anyone asked all these young people why they don’t attend regularly?
This.

A load of middle aged folk pontificating about what the young people like...good grief. Advertising on the radio? Do young ‘uns even listen to the radio? Is it not all Spotify etc

Covent Garden FX

Now then, you may remember several years ago that the BDF hooked up with an online currency exchange (via an employee with links to Barrow) called Covent Garden FX who made a small donation to the BDF for each transaction resulting from the coventgardenfx.com/bluebirds page. Given the Trust’s recent...

Re: If Evatt Goes.

I think the ticket offers etc this season have been as good as I can remember but you have a point - we do things once and then never again. The open training session that happened last season in the holidays - seemed to be a great success but hasn’t been repeated. The players did that Friday aftern...

Re: Ground Maintenance Area

I can only remember that Rochdale game because I was flogging programmes there. Austin Straker’s daughter was on duty iirc.

As you allude to, it’s probably not worth it on a hassle v reward basis.

Re: Ground Maintenance Area

There was a bottle bar there when we played Rochdale. Is it still fit to use, Ian?

The Hartlepool game could make a few quid, not sure about the rest of the home games.

Interesting stat on the Graun’s football weekly podcast - nobody currently in the Wrexham team has scored more than 5 goals in the league this season.

Re: Barnet rip-off

This appears to be in breach of the National League rules requiring both sets of supporters to be charged the same amount and, where no terrace is available to visitors, the stand admission must be limited to the cost of the terrace admission Is that still the rule John? I had a cursory look at the...

Re: Fan Reaction to the Q&A Friday

Think we have to get our act together Commercially before the season end. Forgive me if we do this already but could we run a weekly lottery with 50% going back to the club. We can draw from people other the fan base. If we could get around 1500 people joining at £2 the club could realise £1500 or ...
