Re: Home Attendances

It would also help if patrons could shoot straight. It isn’t hard chaps! When I took my young daughters to the toilet at HS I used to dread what we would encounter. Combine that with the litter problem and you wonder what some people’s homes are like. Scruffs. There's now 2 refurbished unisex toile...

Re: Dan Jones

Okey doke. I actually agree with AJ, there could be scope to move Taylor back into defence next season. Depends who else we get signed on, preferred formation etc

Clearly any defence would ideally need to be built around Jason Taylor - retaining his service I would agree is a higher priority.
Taylor is a midfielder....or are you advocating moving him into defence next season?

Elsdon played for them earlier in the season, didn’t he?

Re: Well Who Should It Be?

I sent my NSC vote in this morning - Taylor, Dixon and RND, based on what I’ve seen this season.

Re: Home Attendances

No worries.

You also get a solidarity payment (£450k this year) and if you come straight down you get the same again in the first year back down in non league and then £225k for the following season.

Just think how many new boilers we could buy with that...

Re: Home Attendances

You get a grace period to complete all the required improvements. According to their Chairman, Accy Stanley still don’t comply with all of the rules and they’ve been in the league for what, 13 years?

Re: Home Attendances

Why would we not want to be in the play offs? A few bumper gates at the end of the season would be good for the finances, wouldn’t they?

The ground board is just the usual board manufacture cost. I can’t remember how much they cost to manufacture to be honest and it also depended on the size. Again, I can’t remember how much that lottery cost to run but a general rule of thumb is about 66p profit for every £1 played.
Thank you

Re: Fan Reaction to the Q&A Friday

the club has to pay for the ground boards (Gold Bond themselves don’t advertise). I also spoke to a freelance lottery canvasser who was ready and willing to start Can you remember how much the boards were? And how much the club would receive per £ after the Gold Bond and the Canvasser took their cut?

Has anyone asked all these young people why they don’t attend regularly?
This.

A load of middle aged folk pontificating about what the young people like...good grief. Advertising on the radio? Do young ‘uns even listen to the radio? Is it not all Spotify etc
