Re: Thank You

I've listened to you while in Asia, Central and South America it's really good that local radio commentary can be heard when traveling.
BBC knockers take note ,private stations would do nothing like this.
Do not know you Adam but you seem a natural and keep up the good work.
Thanks

Re: Maidenhead v Barrow

I've noticed in Manager and Board interviews there's often a reference about uncovering debts. I thought the previous regime had left the club "debt free" I thought that had been what had been implied when the new board took over but from listening to recent interviews that appears not to have been...

Re: Longest serving player

Yes I him alot of stick last year but he is vastly improved. The goal against Harrogate where he booted the ball against there player and it went in the net was funny but not solely down to him but Indecisiive defending by Taylor So for me a forward who can score goals,a decent midfielder and centre...

Re: BARROW v Dover match thread

A couple of [SwearFilter] shouting "Evatt you're a disgrace" on the way out. If you think that was down to tactics, you're an idiot. Completely agree - no need for that sort of reaction. I wonder if they’ve ever attended an away game, which in general produce better results. Anyone know why that is...

Re: BARROW v Dover match thread

Passionate interview with Evatt Very clear message. 11th is not where he wants to be. “Some fans may be happy with 11th, the board may be happy with 11th, but for me as Manager of this football club, it’s not good enough” Quite agree with the sentiments and it's down to the players once they cross ...

That'll be final confirmation for Evatt regarding some players I'd imagine.
Yes might as well start off loading players and let U21 play in remaining games
Need to save cash

Re: Ian Evatt

Interesting comments in the Mail about previous contract negotiations. Don't know whether he is referring to us or football in general but if it was the former just shows how tinpot and amateur we have been over the last couple of years, allowing ourselves to be royally ripped-off. https://www.nwema...

Re: Ian Evatt

Let’s see a Manager and players achieving success with Barrow. I think that can be said of Ray Wilkie in 1990. He had a small budget but great players from Barrow, west Cumbria and the North-East. He was also dedicated to Barrow. They had a great team spirit. Who knows what would have happened had ...

Re: Barrow v Harrogate Town

Taylor had a dreadful game today, which was surprising, and was probably responsible in some part for both goals. That aside, we dominated a play-off contender and had plenty of opportunities to grab a third. We suffered from having no real attacking options on the bench, but it was a good effort f...

Re: Commercial Manager

Disagree here Ian. A short statement from the club thanking applicants and as the position has been put on hold for the time being their applications will be held on file. Doesn't take much effort. It's all about goodwill. I actually totally agree with you Elaine, it’s polite and IMO the right way ...

You get a grace period to complete all the required improvements. According to their Chairman, Accy Stanley still don’t comply with all of the rules and they’ve been in the league for what, 13 years?
Thanks

Re: Home Attendances

Why would we not want to be in the play offs? A few bumper gates at the end of the season would be good for the finances, wouldn’t they? My fear is we might actually win and imagine if we won promotion. I cannot see us being allowed to go up with the ground the state it is in,correct me if I am wro...

Re: Home Attendances

Catchment areas again? Look at the difference in the views expressed regarding the Dover catchment area. Is it 30000 or 100,000? Obviously depends how you measure it. If you believe that the Dover catchment area extends as far west as Canterbury, includes Folkestone and Ramsgate and Whitstable then...
