That's fantastic, cheers Martin.

I'll try to get down sometime today to collect the shirt.

Many, many thanks.

Hi Uncle Peter

Discussed bucket collection at last nights Director's meeting and they are happy for you to go ahead with bucket collection.

Please ensure buckets have labels on explaing your good cause and contact Darren in the Press Box so he can announce it over PA System.

Good Luck hope you do well for the lad. Please pass on our best wishes to Andy from all board members.

I've just PM'd John, as unfortunately between offering my services and now I've committed to working before and after the game.

Can anyone else lend a hand in sorting a collection?

I couldn't attend today's game due to work commitments and the early kick off but could anyone tell me if a bucket collection took place and if the wristbands are on sale at the ground?

Hi Davy T, unfortunately the bucket collection didn't go ahead as Uncle Peter couldn't get any one to do it? and the wrist bands are on order! apparently they (suppliers) said it would be 2 weeks (see original post for all the details) shame that for Clarkey on both counts, I guess we could of raised a few quid from the collection and the sale of the bands :( anyway have a read of the original post and maybe you could order one

Cheers

For those of you that can't get down to Barrow Central Joinery, please email me: russrawley@gmail.com or phone 07921923785 and I could call in whilst I'm out and about and get you one or two and drop them off :scarf: :scarf:

Lord Lucan wrote:As some of u may already know Andy Clarke 30 (Clarkey from Walney), a keen Barrow AFC Fan was recently diagnosed with a brain Tumour, he was operated on within a week of finding out and he bounced back from the op with flying colours, unfortunately there was bad news from his biopsy and Andy now needs radiotherapy and chemotherapy, Lisa and family are all devastated and want to raise money for Andy to help with costs such as travelling to Preston everyday, hotels etc. Andy has been through so much already, we just want to make things a bit easier and if u can do anything to help please do so.

We have ordered wristbands to show support for Andy and these will be available in the next few weeks. If you would like to pre-order one they are £2.50 + 50p postage if they are not being delivered locally, please send this as a gift so as not to incur PayPal costs.

Payments for wristbands can be via PayPal using the following e-mail address or donations sent to the same address.

Thank you very much for taking the time to read this and any help is greatly appreciated.

Goodbye Andy... Brilliant little footballer for Barrow Bluebirds and one of the nicest lads you could meet.
Rest in peace mate.

Really, really sad news indeed.

My thoughts are with his family at this very sad time.

No age at all.

RIP Andy.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

Such a shame,
Knew andy through playing for Walney and such a top lad.
Thoughts go to his wife, family and close friends at this sad time.
Heavens got a top lad!! :(
