About

Two offers of help within 30 minutes of asking, non-league clubs up & down the country must envy BAFC & it’s supporters.
It's true Ian. Not everyone has the time to help but do so in many other ways. Donations of money and equipment are just as important and much appreciated.
The close season will be when the major work starts and I can't wait to see the changes.

Agree Elaine....Theres lots planned for pre-season which will need extra hours during the week. We won't get it all done just doing Sunday mornings.
We have a small group working there mid week now.
This is certainly making a difference.
Any help of tools or money will help.
It's amazing how quick our funds go down just buying little bits we need.
We have one or 2 projects planned that will be beyond us financially. If any business out there wants to sponsor a project at the ground then please get in touch

Do the new owners put anything in? Or is it all just done off donations?

Only fans contribute to the maintenance fund.
The owners are working on Biggar projects and some of these will be happening pre season
We either fix or make smaller improvements.

We don't ask the owners for money towards our maintenance fund

Cheers thought that was the case.
Just asked because of the "beyond us financially" comment

Ah so that’s where the new super stadium is going to be.

You have too much time on your hands. Get down to the ground and occupy them. 😉

I painted those toilets in the away end about 18 years ago - surely they don’t need doing again already!?!?

They get done once every 18 years whether they need it or not Dave.

Does the maintenance group have a bank account which money could be transferred to?

I am an out of Towner and only get to HS 4/5 times a year but would be happy to donate via DD.
And on the 7th day god created football

That’d be really helpful, unfortunately we don’t have that sort of set-up. What people have done in the past is use the Trusts account but earmarking it for the GMV.

I’m unsure whether it could cause them problems or not now but I’ll ask Rich or Frazer...or if any of the Trust committee see this could you answer that question please?

It really would be nice to see a regular amount come in which would help us to plan for certain jobs in the coming months.

I’ve just seen a draft of the story the Mail have done on us and it does mention donations....but in the good old fashioned way of an “envelope at the games”....which is as good as anything but I totally understand how some can’t do it that way.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

I’ve checked with Rich and it can get a bit complicated using their account.

I’ve PMd you with a possible soliution if that would interest you.

Thanks for the interest anyway.

Vaughans old car park....basically it’s just a breeze block wall to most viewing it from inside the ground.
The can bar is the three windowed ticket office that has popped up at various places around the ground. It was only used once about four years ago......very unsuccessfully.
It’s been done out quite well now, certainly good enough for its present use.
