Post by Bluebirds Trust » Sun Sep 09, 2018 3:54 pm

Dear Member(s) of the Barrow Independent Supporters Society Ltd, (trading as The Bluebirds Trust),
I am writing to advise that fourth Annual General Meeting of the Barrow Independent Supporters Society (trading as the Bluebirds Trust) will be held at the Crossbar at The Furness Building Society Stadium, Holker St, Barrow in Furness on Saturday 27th October 2018 at 11.00 am.

We welcome nominations from those in the membership who wish to stand for election to the board, to further strengthen the board and help us progress as a Trust.

Those persons wishing to stand for nomination must observe the following rules:

Any person wishing to be a candidate for election to the Society Board must be a fully paid-up member of the Society and be nominated by at least one-fully paid-up member of the Society.

A signed letter of nomination from a member, or email from the address a member has given the secretary are acceptable substitutes for a signature on the candidate's nomination form.

An accompanying statement (minimum 100, maximum not exceeding 1000 words in total) outlining the candidate and their reasons for standing for election is also required.

The deadline for nominations is midnight on Friday 28th September 2018.

Nominations should be sent to: The Secretary, Bluebirds Trust, 5 Aycliffe Drive, Buckshaw Village, Chorley, PR7 7GD or info@bluebirdstrust.co.uk

Nomination Forms can be downloaded from https://drive.google.com/file/d/1XAYXTs ... QeaRJ/view

If there are more nominations than posts available (maximum of 12) then an election shall take place at the AGM. Proxy voting forms for those unable to attend the AGM in person will be circulated with the Notice of AGM not less than 21 days before the meeting.

Any member wishing to raise a resolution at the AGM or raise any other item for discussion at that meeting, should do so in writing to the secretary including the justification for, form and content of the resolution at the addresses given above before Friday 28th September 2018.

Full rules of the Society and Supporting Policies are available on request to the secretary.

If you have not yet done so, please take this opportunity to renew your membership for the current season, a renewal form is available from http://www.bluebirdstrust.co.uk/wp-cont ... ations.pdf

Kind regards,

Levi Gill

Secretary
