Come the thousand, capman, you'll be there!

Good effort by all concerned. With promotion beyond the usual social media sources, as mentioned upthread, at least a couple of hundred more should be attainable by the target date. Any thoughts to extending the deadline to the end of August with the understanding that the August purchases would have fewer opportunities to win? (Although I suspect that the legality of that may need to be checked.)

I’m quite sure the Rugby are still selling there’s so i don’t see why it shouldn’t still be sold after the July 31st deadline if the interest is there

Think that as these lottery applications are being sold with a clearly set out list of terms and conditions that have been accepted by purchasers legally trust be on sticky wicket to try and change things now.As has h been said earlier it will be reviewed for next year any tweaking can be done then. When back from sunny Spain I will definitly get another .Keep momentum going we doing well

Hi all, thanks for the feedback. We appreciate that selling during the off-season hasn't been ideal in terms of being able to utilise matchdays to raise awareness, but that said the result has still been amazing.

The first 1901 Club was always going to be an experiment. For one thing, next year we will have a slight overlap and will sell entries for the second year from April-June 2020 so that the money raised goes to the club when it's most needed. That also means that games in March and April can be targeted as key opportunities to sell.

RE extending the deadline now, the feeling is that's at best unfair to those who would be paying the same price for less draws and and at worse may trip us up with the Gambling Act. Also, the scheme was envisaged as a way of providing income during the summer, so ending it as the season begins makes sense.

All the feedback and contributions have been massively appreciated and rest assured, there will be more opportunities to hand your money over to Barrow AFC and the Bluebirds Trust as the season progresses!

Just seen another go in at the reception desk - 515 and no capman in sight for an update...
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

Well done Bluebirds trust for another fundraising effort which has attracted fantastic support from fans. With over 500 entrants the prize money is stacking up- nearly £270 a month at the moment. Perhaps now would be a good time to widen the net in attracting new entrants? I would suggest a leaflet campaign around town with some Evening Mail publicity- £25 to get 12 chances to win a monthly first prize of £250 would surely be well supported. Just a suggestion - keep up the good work.I appreciate that a lot of effort has got us this far.

It’s already been in the Mail, in the Levi Gill column.
