Things progressing well my only concern is are those blue painted blocks a safety hazard for players if running full tilt for the ball as they not far from playing area?

What about the wall that's been in the same place all those years

It’s probably further away from the actual playing area than the wall either at end of the pitch behind the two goals, and it’s obviously exactly the same distance from the main stand to the pitch which we’ve had for twenty years.
It really is fine Ann.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

On a still night, with the moon and floodlights acting in perfect union, you can still see the dints in the walls caused by Mike Marsh and Peter Smith clattering into them at full pelt.

I think Greg Blundell also had a coming together with the HSE pitch perimeter wall....quite nasty one iirc.

“Scores with his head, scores with his balls..Gregg Blundell - he doesn’t like walls”

Pushed by James Jennings, iirc.

Dave Bayliss' full time 'remonstration' with Jennings which had various officials hanging off him this wasn't it? "He comes from Liverpool...he'll f----ing strangle you!'

The home changing & shower room from earlier.

The changing room has been painted (floor & walls) new tactic board installed, plastic cladding fitted to certain walls, mirrors added and toilets fixed.

The shower room has had a complete makeover after the Trust donated the money to enable us to take this on. Blown tiles fixed, floor & walls painted, light fixed, white plastic cladding with grey trims and the two windows replaced hopefully in the next few weeks.

The extendable players tunnel lying in the reception area ready for assembly.
The Chairman’s room - barring a few improvements to do in the new season it’s virtually finished.

Ha! The last time my lad painted was with a straw at preschool. By the looks of his legs he managed to find a straw big enough to help out tonight. 😂😂😂 Mind you I not he will be laughing if there’s blue paint on anywhere but his bedroom walls when me and the boss lady return to blighty. 🤨
