Shame about Nathan.
It was his own choice wasn't it?

It was only a week or so ago where he was pictured wearing a new shirt for next season. I took this as a cue that he was staying. He hadn't had much of a crack this season due to injuries and I thought he would be willing to give it a go. I haven't read any different so you all must have had some other info I've not seen.

He announced it himself on twitter that he told the club he wouldn't be staying after this season;-

"After careful consideration, I have made the decision to inform @BarrowAFC that I do not wish to consider any further options with the club after the end of my current contract. I’d like to wish the management team and players all the best for the future."

That news hadn't come across my bows. Good luck to him. And now I see it's on another thread, doh!

It’s a lot more solid start to the squad than we usually have at this stage. Few more key additions and we’ll be grand

Hoping for a striker in the Jacob Blyth mould, but one that can score goals and stay injury-free. A big ask!

I would let Blyth go, but the manager has given him a fair crack of the whip and he is a better judge than me. I expect him to be retained.

Yeah, possibly on reduced terms, short-term or pay-as-you-play.

Slightly disappointed about Barthram; thought he could play, but physically a bit small
