Surely no way wilson signs. Much better players on the market than both of those 2. Cant imagine wilson came cheap either. Be interesting to see a few trialists. I wouldnt rule out kemy reappearing
I think you have forgot about Sam Hird ?
Yeah i did. I still think we need that big vocal cb though. We have issues with keeping our cbs fit - hird, elsdon, granite - all missed too many games last season through niggles. 1 first choice cb please and one of those 3 to play alongside him

Hird came to us quite late last season and I think was carrying an injury when he arrived. All being well in pre-season I think he will be in our first back four of the season.

Need another centre half and a pacey, tricky wide man with a decent delivery and I dont think we are too far away.

This lad can really play. Works hard and is a decent size aswell. Really good signing who will work well with hardcastle.
If we can keep him fit then he could end up been a hell of a signing. Squad really taking shape now. Id imagine a starting 11 as:

Dixon

Barry
Brough
Granite
?

Hardcastle
Taylor
Rooney
Waddington

Quigley
Angus
? - possibly this lad from sheff utd on loan

Then obviously we still have hindel etc who will be knocking on the door.

I think all we need is a centre half with height, another def cm and a back up left back and we are done.
Sheff united loanee is not going to be a forward. We already have 5 of those 6 if you include Rhys Turner.
Kyron Gordon from Sheff Utd? Noticed he was liking a few posts about Waddington signing.

could be a good shout that - he's a goalscoring aggressive centre half who can also play right back and Tyler Smith's half brother if someone who commented on one of their threads is correct
Bring it on!!!

Maybe that could just explain his affinity with Barrow then. Whoever we get, presuming they're in a similar bracket to Smith and Norrington-Davies, then I'm sure they'll be a good addition.

Chipmunx . . . you've asked who is 2nd from the right on the front row.

Sorry, I haven't a clue. Even though I was ever-present last season I don't recognise any of them, no, not even one of them (well, okay, Ian Evatt I think, but he's facing the camera).

The ears of the one 4th from the right on the back row look familiar. I am sure I've seen those ears before. Andy Cook? Really? Nah.

Couldn't identify any of them bar Taylor - looks like you can see the top of Angus' hair over the far side...

The club put up a pic of the players training before and there's at least two who I don't have a clue about. Triallists?

There are some students from Hopwood Hall training with them too.
