Fair play to them, hopefully persuades plenty of pool fans to come

They have a friendly the same day vs Altrincham. Not sure what the split of squad will be, or split of fans.

They are splitting the first team up half coming here with other half off to Alty.

Grayson has already said the 1st team will be mixed up.

Grayson's bringing the majority of the 1st team here and his No.2 is taking the rest to Altrincham.
Don't forget we're the strongest opposition for them and the Blackpool team will reflect that giving players 60 minutes at least if possible.
The new signings will feature for them at Holker Street by all accounts

Be nice to see the tangerine army turn up in numbers, all adds the coffers and always makes for a decent atmosphere even if it's only a friendly. Just hope the locals pop along too to get the numbers up!

Some great memories for the manager in those twelve pages of photos from the Gazette and Times!

We share a weekend of glory too. The day after we won the trophy at Wemberlee they won the playoffs on the same pitch.

My memory is playing tricks then. I thought I spoke to some fans on their way down as I was coming back. I'm getting old.

Possibly they were returning home after a fortnight celebrating?
