If anyone wants to sign up to The Gold Bond draw I see the option to sign up online has been re-instated.

You can donate additional money when you pay your annual membership fee, knowing that the money will be properly used and not disappear into a black hole. The NSC only funds specific projects, examples from the past being the disabled facilities, floodlights for the 5-a-side pitch, and reserve team kit. Contact Dave Leitch Dave.Leitch@ukgateway.net for details.

but who decides what the money is used for?

in my opinion floodlights for the 5 a side pitch isnt really a priority and im sure people agree with me.

A separate fund, where everyone contributes the same amount and therefore has the same vote in what is done is the way forward. We could then collect money and when that pot of gold is shining we could do a simple members of the fund vote to vote on how best to use that money rather than one person or a couple of people taking it upon themselves to decide

The NSC committee decides what the money is used for. They are a democratically elected body. They discuss with the club what the club's needs are at the time. At one particular time (many years ago), floodlights for the 5 a side pitch were a priority!! As I remember it it was Neil McDonald who approached the NSC about it (might be wrong about that). Why are you expressing an opinion about that now?! I can't really see why you are against a system which has worked for years.
