First goal from a defender this season.
Part of our problem has been lack of goals from defence / midfield.

I hope we are throwing everything at then with 5 minutes left

Why haven't we played like this in the previous 80 minutes? Sounds like a completely different team.

Victim of our own disciplinary record.Taylor getting too many cards think manager needs to have a word with them about all the cards tho am aware a lot of officials are dire.We suffering from these unnecessary suspensions.

This for Evatt to sort out. He’ll be massively disappointed with this result today, although I had a feeling it would be tough, Barnet in a false position I think. Until we sort out the goal scoring we will struggle, especially if we go behind in games. Our lack of goals is more than a blip yet no one seems to be concerned about this, rather focusing on our usually sound defensive game. Just glad that we are in relative mid table comfort and not in the bottom 5-6.

Gonna say it, since we lost Augustien we’ve lost a massive part of our creativity and influence in that midfield and this indifferent run we are on coincides with him leaving.

Unfortunately take Taylor out of the team we struggle, he's our glue. But it's goals for that's the biggest concern!

And his red hot agent has still to deliver the deal he apparently deserves!

Got to agree with this, we have scored just 3 goals in 8 games since he left, it’s no coincidence. That ‘agent’ has had a big impact on our season unfortunately.

Agustien created the chances which we are still doing
Our downfall has been not replacing Tyler Smith

But that wasn’t our problem today. Our recently solid defence had an away day. Jameson had a shocker.

Majority looked uninterested. Potentially as we now have nothing to play for? It happens to a lot of teams, however it is very disappointing. Now is the time to show your worth and prove you deserve a contract with us next season. That final ten minutes we kicked on but it was too late. Two of our poorest performances coming against Barnet.

To say Jameson had a shocker is overlooking where the problems are- at other end of the pitch. We are the lowest scorers in the league over the last 8 games. Goals have dried up and no one is scoring from midfield. I put that down to not making enough of those stuffy half chances that come around every game.

This team has done great and I am 100% on board with what Evatt is trying to do but our lack of goals is why we are 12th and not in the top 7.

Defence have been magnificent.
To say they havent scored enough is bizzare.

If the strikers were scoring even 1 goal a game we would be up there.

Its a blip, in this league the teams thay have a good striker make the playoffs .

Disagree. Teams who are up there generally have scoring threat from all over the pitch, so if the strikers goals dry up, then there are goals from elsewhere. That means centre half’s scoring and 8-10 goal scoring midfielders.

We were fine for the first few minutes, until Barnet scored following some uncharacteristic sloppy defending, and for the last few minutes after we scored. If we'd played like that all match we could easily have won. In between, though, Barnet were quicker to the ball and we lacked both creativity and a killer-instinct goalscorer.

I can't help wondering, though, if minds were already set on the Leyton Orient match on Tuesday and Wrexham the following week. With Aldershot sandwiched inbetween of course. Certainly taking Dior Angus off at half time did nothing to dispel this view.
