Guilty of overpaying
I'm afraid that's your own fault, Ian. You are either too proud or too generous. Insist at the turnstile next time that you're only paying the £12. The extra £3 handed over must feel like a frustrating loss when we have an off day like we did yesterday.

You'd be surprised, but loads of people plonk their arse down for the midday kick-off and settle in for the day. It will have shaved off a few from the crowd, I'm in no doubt.
And the football authorities maintain that Saturday lunchtime or early evening (sorry, dinner time and tea time) matches on television don't reduce gates elsewhere.

Yeah, right.

Maybe we need little pop up bars around the ground where you can get a drink watch whatever games are on TV in a bit of comfort.. Lots of things for people to do and lots of ways to spend some money

The school kids weren't as arsed this week, Saturday Premier League was back, and it wasn't as warm.
Seriously, this premier league obsession people link to our crowds.
What game? and where were they all watching it? at 3pm
its pretty easy to stream 3 pm games nowadays, for example united/watford. Personally id rather watch a live local team, but the vast majority of the town has grown up choosing a premier league club to back.
