It feels as if the season is fizzling out with a series of poor performances. All gone pear shaped since that great win at Wrexham.

Cancelled bus so didn't make it. I will take a mid table finish as a successful season in the light of what has happened. Walked to the the pub and had beer and food with Mrs Edge instead.
Unfortunately I paid. Looking forward to next season already. Onwards and upwards.

Why oh why does the manager persist with 3 at the back & 2 wing backs 😩 yes there have been occasions where this system has been successful against certain teams but overall it’s cost us valuable points,IMO we have looked more solid at the back, created more chances & had more success playing 4-3-3 🤔

Is Blyth injured not seen him for a few weeks ?
And Dan Jones?
Dan Jones picked up nasty ankle injury in training. Likely to be out 2-3 months.

Another very good interview with Ian Evatt today, well worth listening again on Radio C post match round about 12 minutes in.

Look!! Im know I’m gonna get slated for this but the commentary with them two today was so fukin negative it spoilt the result. Then at the final whistle they both rant on for 10 minutes about poor performances this season,so bloody negative,it was a decent away point focus on that for god sake. Then he tries to take the negativity into the post match interview , so glad IE put him right. Not avin it!!!

You are right. Mention of players minds on booking holidays....overall to negative given the improvement this season.
It’s the same with some fans who despite this year are far from pleased.
Can we try to be more positive ?

Would you like me to lie in future or would you like me to tell it as it is?

It was a typical end of season game where there is nothing at stake for either side. And, as a supporter, it was far too hot on the terraces to be bothered about it.

To be fair, the NWEM report seems to confirm the impression that the commentary was giving in the second half.

Incorrect
But also as I said last week after the Dover debacle, we are just not a good team.
