Still got 'The boy on the shed' on my bookshelf. Never forget his debut at Witton's old ground when he went round Barrow fans asking if he had made an impressive impression. A fantastic life coming through all them troubles and has overcome illness to have a football career,a KC figure and now an im...

Not to mention Wyll got MOTM yesterday. Included was a superb save which many of their supporters had never seen likewise. Look on YT.

Don't know what has caused Barkhuizens' problem same as most people (perfect Barrow). However i remember when he first signed about his transfer from Morecambe to Preston. He had his contract mutually cancelled. Preston paid a small fee which he said was enough to pay wages to Morecambe players who ...

Well glad Stanway was not in goal. Mistakes happen and if you are in goal you will concede a goal. The second goal should have been saved. The blinding obvious thing was we've not had a proper forward since Quigley. Cameron did lots of work but pre match the Hartlepool commentators remarked on his ...

I know its a long shot but having read the Evening Mail (web edition) I note they are pointing out that we are playing Morecambe at Holker Street tomrrow'.
Hate anyone coming any distance to find no action.

Barrow win 4-3 with last minute goal after being 0-2 down at half-time.

Just read that Shrewsbury have a 'transfer' embargo for the whole of close season because of a loan payment missed. Apparently this happened last week after the Fletcher deal had gone through.

According to some fan on Rovers forum Peter Wild has been released from his contract.

As bad as they’ve been this season some of our players will be well above average in NL. Stanway, MJ, Smith, McCann, Rose, Whitfield if fit, Fletcher, Raglan. Would even stretch to Jackson and Shipley. Plenty to get rid of but need to keep some. Signing a whole new squad is a recipe for further dis...

Don't forget Hemmings answer to all our goalscoring afflictions. !

New Ray when he was at Greengate School just a year or two above
me. Might be getting things mixed up but wasn't he the goalkeeper for Barrow youth when they lost 14-1 to manchester United (Best scored a hat-trick). Might be getting my names mixed up.
Condolences to his family.

Seems stange that there are people on the Rovers forum think he should at least on their substitutes bench.
