Gomis is very highly regarded within the U23 setup at Forest. Could be an exciting move for us if it’s true!

Re: HARTLEPOOL V BARROW MATCH THREAD

As S.B & G.T. said someone is going to get a pasting. Hope it’s Fylde. Whilst I'd love to see us give Fylde an absolute pasting, I'd rather not have to wait until after Christmas for it to happen!! So, if we could deliver a couple of pastings in the near future, and then another couple over Fyl...

Re: Russ, the Raffle and Replacing the Irreplaceable

There should be a half time presentation to Russ at our first home league game from the club.Life membership perhaps. +1 - something significant really needs to be done! Russ, you are incredible. Dedicated beyond anyone’s expectations, an absolute gentleman and a true Barrow legend. Who would have ...

Re: Safety Issues

Casson: “We have all of this in hand – it was all meant to be complete by this week,” he said. “But rather than take a reasoned approach, they have taken the nuclear option, and I have no idea why.” Erm, maybe because one of the certificates expired 14 MONTHS ago?! Just a hunch. Even the fact that t...

Re: Boreham Wood (A) 30/3/18

Last season (or maybe the previous one?!), we weren't allowed in the bar, or the car park, and nobody was particularly friendly about it. We were advised to use the local Wetherspoons which, as John says above, is a complete dive. The away end has no cover, and is out of range of the PA system so yo...

Nobody rights rooves its bad england they wood say 'rooftops' if out.
Rooftop refers only to the outer, visible part of the structure, so rooves would indeed be the correct term in this case...

Re: Casson

Nowadays there's loads more to do at the weekend and it's more family orientated - which means if the kids and 'her indoors' don't like Football - you risk entering into a family argument just so you can attend a game. A lot of guys would rather miss their dose of footy for a peaceful life. Okay; I...

Re: Liam hughes

If LH had made any kind of statement about suffering from depression he would undoubtedly receive full and unconditional support from Barrow fans, no question. To speculate about it on a public forum when he isn't ready to talk could potentially be devastating for him and set him back further. He c...

Re: Macclesfield Town GAME OFF

We got to Macc before realising the game was off. Team bus was there and it was 1 degree above freezing. I'd been convinced all day that it would be off, but decided to go for it given that there was no mention of a pitch inspection and no doubts cast by the club (Macc). It definitely doesn't add up...

Re: Taunton v Barrow FA Cup game (now Sunday 6th Nov)

£15, when their league games are £8? That's scandalous! Would you have an issue paying £21 at Holker Street if Barrow drew Newcastle or Villa? Absolutely, yes. It's immoral, in my opinion, regardless of who we're playing. I appreciate that making money is vital, especially for smaller clubs, but ri...

Re: Prospective Signings

Bluebirds sign central defender Moussa Diarra, 25, from Hampton and Richmond Borough. Moussa is going out on loan because he is going to find his opportunities limited here, “ said the Hemel boss. “I know he is a fans’ favourite but he has had more than his fair share of chances this season. “Mouss...
