Re: Ian Evatt

Thankyou for promotion and thankyou for some of the best football I’ve seen at Holker Street. Right decision to leave I’m not so sure, but looks like decision made. The manager going isn’t the worst thing that can happen but more worrying will be which players leave also and how we have to rebuild ...

Re: Ian Evatt

I said above I don’t want the board to let him go cheap, however if it is true, and I’m not sure what is anymore, that he wants to leave I’d rather he did. Don’t want a manager here that isn’t committed.

Re: Ian Evatt

Might be a bit of drifting on the odds soon as there seems to be an impression that Bolton are either reluctant to pay or can't. Not saying he isn't going but I get the impression that they're trying to knock us down quite a lot. We need to stand our ground regardless. I hope we do and not give in ...

Re: Ian Evatt

I think Evatt will go on to bigger and better things, no question, but right now I would prefer he stayed with barrow and give us that first year in the league and see what we can achieve. If he goes, so be it, he will have got us where we want to be. It’s football and managers and players come and ...

Re: GOING UP

Oh happy days. My dad said barrow would never be in the league again whilst he was alive, alas he was right, but I was unsure tbh whether I would ever see it. Still cannot believe it

This suggestion is a non starter don`t people listen to what the government are saying

Behind closed doors

Reading what Ian Evatt said before about playing games behind closed doors - he said if that happened barrow fans would turn up anyway wanting entry thereby involving policing/stewarding costs etc. Really? Would you? If that was how the league could continue and thereby hopefully resulting in our re...

Re: Barrow v Notts county match thread

Brad Barry personal problems I was told but he has been a fantastic player and could do with him back The West Brom lad is he due to go back? Seems a waste of a loan when he has barely played and a West Brom friend said they had high hopes for him and a good young player Can’t rely on Harrison in pl...

Re: Barrow v Dover match thread

We shouldn’t base budget on high attendances when we are doing well because if things start going pear shaped those attendances will drop. Champions league tv does t help but think of those that work shifts who can’t attend also. Due to shifts I’ve probably missed more than I’ve seen this season, un...
