Re: Decisions being made

For what it's worth I've spoken to the Chairman of two Football League clubs this week and both have said they expect to see Barrow in the League next season.
The only question mark is, what will that league structure look like when next season finally gets underway ?

Re: Zigger

I think Zigger looked like a boxing bag rather than a mascot and was once featured on the cover of the Football League Review which was a supplement handed out in programmes at clubs all around the country.

Re: Ticket Sales/Refunds

Surely the best way forward would be to say let's stop football now for say four weeks then start playing again. So this season finishes a month later than planned. To get round the late finish start next season later, in say mid September. A latter start next season would mean you'd have to play mo...

Re: prediction v wrexham next sat

BarrowCymo I was at Barrow's last home league game in 1972 it was indeed against Brentford but I think you'll find we lost 3-0. Barrow's last league match was at Exeter City we lost 7-1. We were robbed the Grecians last goal was clearly offside, ha

Thanks for updating the pics, I remember once commenting on how much better the terracing would look if it was power washed. I realise this would be a big job and probably far too expensive to undertake but I think " Spirit of 1990 " said at the time that the club had already thought about it. Just ...

Can anyone help ?

I've booked an appointment to see a Doctor on Monday, my problem is I can't stop looking at the National League Table. Every minute of every day I keep looking at it and hoping the played 35 soon reads played 46 and Barrow are still in the same position. A friend says I maybe suffering from "Titleit...

Re: prediction v dagenham home [sat]

Weather forecasts are so inaccurate these days it's untrue. I've noticed some weather experts?? are now suggesting the storm will arrive later than was first predicted so we might be ok. One thing I have noticed is all these meteorologists are very good at telling you what the weather has been like ...

Re: prediction v dagenham home [sat]

Ironically if this match is called off, we could have played our strongest eleven against Barnet in the Trophy.

Re: Best result for us

There's no way Harrogate and Halifax are going to win their remaining 12 or 13 games so I'd say this year a side could win the League with a relatively low points total compared to previous campaigns. One other point to consider is usually there's a side cut adrift at the bottom of the table that ev...

Re: Brilliant Interview with Ian Evatt

Excellent insight after listening to that interview I'm even more convinced we will reach the promised land come the end of the season. I honestly believe Ian Evatt if he stays next season, could take us even further. I just hope he does. The Casson comments around the 44 minute mark are interesting...

Wilkie Road a parking question

I don't know what Wilkie Road was called before it was renamed (the road that runs behind the Grandstand) but to settle an argument could someone explain why nobody ever appears to park on it on match day. There are no double yellow lines and to the best of my knowledge no parking signs saying you c...

Re: Bucket collection on Saturday

I must admit I thought the club reached an all time low a few years ago when we accepted money off St Mary's Hospice for sponsorship. I couldn't believe we were taking money off an organisation like that. Give them publicity by all means but to accept payment just didn't seem right in my eyes.

Re: Our Crowd Average

Before the teams walk out from the tunnel they play the music from what I'm presuming is a film. Does anyone know what film that is ?
