Re: Barrow in the cup

One I remember at home to Notts Forest in 1969 in League cup . We gave them a close run but got beat 2-1 they had few internationals Terry Hennessey was one i remember That was a heck of a game and despite the narrow loss ranks as one of our better performances. I think Forest were the equivalent o...

Re: Barrow in the cup

As a big critic of Paul Casson his intentions were good but in all honesty he did not have the time to manage the Project. In all honesty if we get promoted he should be asked to take part in any celebrations along with the Keens and some of the supporters who have done alot of voluntary work Elaine...

Re: Decisions being made

The EFL lack of decision is going to cause a number of clubs go bust. We may need several National league clubs to fill league teams places. Re: Decisions being made

He threatened to sue any club who voted to end the season the other week (probably an empty threat to try and force mid table teams to vote to continue) so no surprise he wants to know publicly which way clubs vote Just another arrogant owner who thinks his side are better than they are. Theres a f...

Re: Decisions being made

While we wait for this soap opera to end and countless Clubs on the brink of going out of business I would like Paul Hornby to release a statement to reassure all Barrow AFC Supporters that the board of directors can get us through this difficult time and go forward together what ever league we fin...

Re: Decisions being made

Yep it's worrying . The amount of time it's taking to sort out is ridiculous. Let's not make a decision to hastily we might look competent Act in haste, repent at leisure, Pedro. :) Nigel Procrastination is the thief of time It would give the peasants in the lower leagues a chance to organise and m...

Re: Decisions being made

Who is the Manager at Grimsby, Ian Holloway What’s that got to do with a reporter that supports a Lincolnshire rival to Grimsby? The report was in the Grimsby paper .It references Barrow twice . I.E has been proactive and I am sure he will have talked to his former Manager Ian Holloway ,the article...

Re: Decisions being made

It's a case of the haves and have nots.
PL do not give a monkey about grass roots.
I really hope the PL have to pay TV money back its ruined our game making most clubs PLCs.

Money grabbers reducing payments at early stages of FA cup.

Re: Decisions being made

Sutton Utd. fan in peace. I'd just like to say how informative and entertaining this thread is. I've visited it many times as it seems to me to be the best current source of info, anywhere, regarding the end of the 19/20 season. Some really well argued points and plenty of them. Good analysis and n...
