Re: Matty platt

Platt might be getting the same treatment as did Ryan Yates who was great for us. Brought here I think by Cox due to his Midlands connections with Forest. After a spell with us he was loaned out to League 2 Shrewsbury ,then League 1 Scun thorpe. Watched him last night in the highlights playing for F...

Re: Ian Evatt

I assume he said goodbye to our players? Was expecting a short statement from to us the fans once appt made.Read his spiel on Bolton but only said “ the timing wasnt ideal as we had just been promoted”I know a lot of people are fed up/angry/disappointed or philosophical about his departure.Just thou...

Re: Ian Evatt

Imagine if Evatt was a smoke screen and they reveal another person to take the heat of their real appointment.

Re: Ian Evatt

We should not be arguing with Bolton supporters . I have fond memories of Bolton and also feel sorry for the way they have fallen on hard times. It must be hard to watch how well Burnley ,Blackburn and PNE are doing. The bitterness is the way Evatt until recently was spinning about our future. To Bo...

Re: Ian Evatt

Tbh No one is bitter, it's more disappointment that he's chosen to take a side step rather than move up! You surely don't think he's made the decision purely on the basis of what league Bolton are in next season? He's joining a club that is light years ahead in terms of size and infrastructure. At ...

Re: To The Board

You might not always like his views. but one thing I trust is Pedro’s loyalty to barrow A.F.C. don’t be silly. Thanks if we all had the same views it would be boring On about Barrow in RC sport now. I complained about Dixon the year before last and admitted this season he has come on leaps and bounds

Re: Ian Evatt

Bolton fans live in hope, just as we do. Well, I'm sure he's been working hard for them during the break identifying players. Just a shame Barrow have been paying him to do it! I assume he along with the whole team and staff will have been furloughed . Good thing is if that's the case we will only ...

Re: To The Board

Ironical I wonder how many supporters can sing the praise of the BOD I just hope they are all staying. As for Evatt he has not been the best Manager we have had I think Ray Wilkie a pure football man for me and probably had least resources. Evatt has gone from hero to zero in days. When you read Bo...

Do not forget the Bolton Evening News is owned by the same owners as the Evening Mail so will drag story out.

Re: Ian Evatt

After listening to all these Bolton supporters I’m starting to feel like I know more about their history than I do about ours. As many others have said, it’s not the leaving, it’s what looks like all the lies and deceit that has gone on. It’s like he was reading off a script but in reality plotting...

Re: Ian Evatt

Is anyone else sitting here looking at all this and smelling a bit of a rat. I have a niggling suspicion that this has been well and truly on the cards for quite some time. Little things like IE coming off twitter a few months back, comments about 'those players will go down in local folklore - not...

Re: Ian Evatt

He seems to often point out the lost opportunity of his playing days, when a big money move fell through and he then became injured shortly afterwards, which was the beginning of the end as a player. That seems to really agitate him and I wonder if mentally, he’s not prepared to do the same as a ma...
