Re: Worst Away Days

Shaw Lane away for me in recent years...
Absolutely embarrassing result. Crash in the way home so it took nearly 6 hours from Barnsley to Barrow.

60!!! What do they all do? :o
Barnet have got all their facilities alongside the club. The Gym, The Football Pitch Rentals, The Hive Function Rooms and then matchday staff and potentially stewards?

Not everyone will be full time.

Re: Corona

Death rate from Corona at the moment is 3%. Flu is 1%. 827 deaths in Italy up to now, and people think it's not serious? Good job Barrow don't play in Italy then. Hope your locked in your bedroom and don't come out. https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/country/uk/ https://www.worldometers.info...

Re: Holker End.

Kris Wilkes sorts this and BTW, without him submitting schedules, plans etc to the FA we wouldn't have got over the.line this year. He runs a steel fabrication company and has a lot of dealings with local firms who will likely build it. It's loads more if its cantilever apparently. We can't afford ...

Did we get any offers to help
I've had 4 additional people come forward on top of the 2 Trust Board Members I started with which is fantastic. This takes our available capacity up to 300 for coach travel.

This may be enough, but more volunteers are always welcome :scarf:

Re: Holker End.

I think the "canopy" refers to the style of roof rather than the material. It's fixes to the back of the Holker Street Terrace where most of the load is taken and arches over with supports at the front. As opposed to being a roof with wider pillars at the front that take the load. That's my understa...

Costly errors by Jones for both the goals there. Really disappointing :(

Volunteer Appeal: Halifax Away

Due to what we anticipate will be high demand for buses for Halifax away, we are looking for volunteers to step forward to run coaches. All equipment needed will be provided. We just need people to check people off the list as they get on, collect money during the journey, and check everyone has got...

Re: Barrow v Notts county match thread

Let’s not put too much on the shoulders of this young lad. Yes he comes with positive reviews, but I would keep faith with Harrison up top next week with Angus, Kay, Hardcastle working around him and we should have enough to get the wins we need. No fears. At the back though I would def hope to see...

Re: New Signing ?

Has soule been with us a month? Replacement for him if he goes back? This highly rated youngster hasn't been given a chance yet at Barrow. Never got off the bench last Saturday and before that came on in the last few minutes the previous 2 games. Hardly had a pass. He's skilful, fast, fit and can s...
