Re: Keith Hill

As a Bolton fan - firstly congratulations on your brilliant season. Secondly - don't for the good of your football club go anywhere near Keith Hill. An absolutely awful bloke who will within a few short weeks have you all tearing your hair out as he makes everything all about him.

Re: Ian Evatt

We couldn’t have signed any of your in contract players anyway as we are under embargo. Sounds like two clubs have been very professional and your board seem very complimentary about how we handled discussions. Sounds like both clubs on good terms. Which is good. Everyone can move on. You’ve got cas...

The photo in question was taken today - by someone who works at the club. The ground was closed and inaccessible on 18th June.

Re: Ian Evatt

It's a joke that Bolton have funded the transfer fee by shafting their suppliers.Other clubs can now go into administration and clear their debts by paying 10p in the pound to Carrs pasties and use the money saved to spend on their football team. I wish Evatt all the best, he'll need it a club stee...

Re: Ian Evatt

It’s not entirely binary though is it? You can love where you work or the club you are at but still want to take career steps. I’ve had lots of jobs I loved doing every single day but when a better opportunity came up (or one I perceived as better) I’d consider it. Didn’t mean I didn’t love my curr...

Re: Ian Evatt

Nice try but you are mistaken. We've never had a debt of £200M or anywhere near that. The previous owner Eddie Davies wrote off the money he invested, as was always his intention. That isn't correct. In December 2019 after the takeover Bolton's administrators stated that there club still owed the Da...

Re: Ian Evatt

I must admit l have come to terms of Evatt leaving and certainly realised he was destined for bigger and better things, but the issue that still galls me and many others was the way in which this transfer has taken place. I for one believed in what he preached and his pearls of wisdom about how muc...

Re: Ian Evatt

Sadly, it's always the fans who suffer! However, following similar collapse of Portsmouth when they were taken over initally by a supporters trust, they actively sought out and paid the local businesses which were owned money before the club went into administration. Did your new owners do that? It...

Re: Ian Evatt

I’m sure you are royally fed up with Bolton fans posting here, but I’ve read this thread the past few days to keep up with the rumours and as a Bolton fan for over 40 years wanted to say how embarrassing it is to read the fact that some of our deluded fans are not content with ballooning on Twitter ...
