Also, defensively today we were a lot lot better. Eastleigh laying it on in the second half with the wind behind them but we held strong at set pieces and successive corners.

And therefore a pretty poor attendance.

Did one of you slip into the Eastleigh dressing room and slip a few pills into their keeper's Bovril? He can come back any time he likes.

The result today was far more important than just about anything, including the embarrassing turnout. I wonder how many of them will come back when their faces will be on BT Sports next Saturday.

Probably fewer of them as they can watch the match in the dry with a pint or two, and save on the admission.

This makes my [SwearFilter] boil when people do this, there’s no excuse for not checking and why would they assume we are a Phoenix club? So mad

Good battling performance and a deserved 3 points. Awful for first half hour then better. Quigley MOTM for me assuming we discount their keeper.

Poor attendance but Premier League started today so all the Sky TV [SwearFilter] back to their sofas/pubs

Tuesday's performance is likely to have been the biggest factor by far in the drop in the attendance with several others mentioned up-thread also contributing.

AFC Barrow could be a simple error given the obsession of some with adding AFC after Barrow, rather than a dig at the events of 1999.

Away attendance reported as 29, I thought. Good on them.

Impressed with Quigley and think he’ll fastly become a fans favourite - worked hard, got stuck in and deserved that goal

First time I've seen dyson he looks a real prospect, quick, technically sound, good vision and got stuck in. I'm struggle to see how the likes of hindle are going to get a lot of game time.
I thought yesterday was a step in the right direction, playing Harrison on the right and josh kay at left wing back aren't long term solutions, it worked yesterday but at times it wasnt too pretty on the eye especially in the first half. It's clear evatt doesn't fancy elsdon otherwise brough would have played Left wing back. Quigley Marked improvement, I also thought barry had a very good game.
