Good deal for both. Too slow for this league. Good fish and chips at Whitby.

‘Found his level at last’ There always has always got to be the cheap shots at someone who can’t defend themselves, embarrassing.

Best of luck Matty & I hope the loan deal works out well for you.

For whatever reasons it was obvious he wasn’t in IEs plans in any way whatsoever.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

Not having seen much of him (except for the unfortunate brief appearance at Halifax in 2018 before he got injured) I can't comment on his ability, but looking at his CV he had 7 years with Middlesbrough, is only 22 and tall, and still on contract until next summer, so surely he must still be a possibility for us - unless there are doubts about his fitness?

Just a lad wanting to realise his dream of being a footballer like many lads do.
If it hasn't worked out here at least he tried.
All the best for the future if you don't return Matty.

Trust in Ian Evatt, Jim. It's obvious Elsdon is not in his plans, so the best thing is for him to be loaned out and hopefully save us a bit of money.

Good bit of business for all concerned. Definitely needs some game time and to get rid of them lead boots he was wearing when he last played.

Played several times in pre-season and was poor. Doesn't look interested too. Speaks volumes when Taylor is beating him to CB pick. Can see him drifting out of game at end of season.

Salford signed another two centre backs on loan today; they must have someone available for a loan move away now surely........
