Phewwww another £30,000 to go.
Whilst we have done amazingly well up to now that is a huge amount of money still to go.
I think we are going to have to think of some money raising ventures besides donations to reach our goal.
Thinking caps on lads and lasses.

There is a Race Night planned, the Easter Egg competition is in full swing, we have marmalade on it's way and the lads are steadily shedding the lbs to make £s. The football cards in various guises are also continuing to sell well and we should have some more items on eBay at some point.

More ideas are always welcome, but it would be even better if you could develop the idea and bring it to fruition. The Trust is increasingly stretched for bodies as both we and the club gear up for some huge matchdays coming up, both home and away.

I don't know anything about the Easter egg competition? and what is the e-bay thing?
I will devote my spare time to trying to think up some money raising ventures.
Ah I have just noticed the egg thread.

That's a cracking idea but would he be up for it? Want paying?
Not everyone is comfortable with public speaking.
Worth asking. Nothing ventured nothing gained.

If that’s the case perhaps he would be more comfortable with a q and a chaired by someone who knows something about him.

There’s no chance he’d want paying; if you were paying for his beer though that’s one heck of a bill!

In these difficult and uncertain times we really need to pull together to put as much money the club’s way as we possibly can through the Trust. All the money we are raising is going in directly and it’s easy to do. Our 10% share stake is the last piece of the jigsaw for this season’s funding, so we need to get it in as soon as possible to help the club out. Please go to Play Your Part if you can and purchase a share contribution. It is for OUR stake in the club we love.

We are working hand in hand with the club on the following ‘matchday’ fund raising so please get involved.
