Do you get to know in good time which retro match days Radio Cumbria are broadcasting? It works well imho when you can promote the same weekend, actually have the draw at half time etc etc

BBCRC usually announce the Carlisle game around a week in advance (next week: home v Millwall in 2009).

The other game - which may be or may not be a Barrow game - is usually announced later in the week though sometimes earlier and, when relevant, Adam29 is usually good enough to add details on here for any forum members who may not be on social media to pick up the announcement.

Adam always tips us the wink. He was instrumental in getting Chilts and Ron Duxbury as well as a great quote from Skip the other week.

Ryan is helping a lot too. The club has about 15 times the reach.

Not yet, first we heard of it was the piece in the Mail.

Tony Chilton will be on the James Phillips Tuesday show on BBCRC at some point in the next hour or two.

The link is for the live broadcast and you would need to search for it on BBC Sounds when it becomes available (tomorrow?).

We have a special raffle theme this weekend with a cup competition that football fans love up and down the country.

We want to know your favourite FA Cup memories from watching the Bluebirds! And who knows virtual Russ may even appear there.

We are just working out the best way of doing this, may well do E Bay this time again. Neil McDonald has also kindly offered his 1990 tracksuit alongside. We are waiting till after the Boydio raffle. Have been in contact with both.

A very classy offer from both gents. We are lucky in many of our ex players and staff at Barrow. They've really helped the cause, including today

A lovely surprise, thank you.

I know many people donate back to the Trust but as our maintenance kitty requires a little boost I hope people are ok with me making a donation to that this time around.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

EBay has an offer this weekend with costs of just £1.00.
