I like the fact that the game itself took up about 1% of the whole thing... Still, good read that, thanks

Some highlights are up on the main site. Unfortunately sound recording is poor / distorted. We are missing the editing skills to put the BBCRC commentary with the highlights and you realise how good they were last season.

Certainly has a lot to say about his day, though more informative on drinking establishments than football. To be honest I can understand the need for Sutton supporters to resort to alcohol at the moment as nothing seems to be going their way. Could say we feel their pain or we've all been there but probably doesn't help. You also have to feel a little for Matt Grey. In his post match he did look a little forlorn and in truth Sutton didn't do much wrong.

Two things I think prevented them from capitalising on their otherwise competitive display. Firstly whilst they were very effective down both flanks their final balls into the box were predictable and the Barrow defence was always well placed to clear whenever they attacked. Secondly whilst they countered quickly on many occasions their movement in front of goal was slow and ponderous, hence the many attempts from outside the box. They are an effective striker short of being a viable NL threat - something we know about from last season.

In truth we looked a little leggy from the off. Not surprising given the miles we've done in the past week. Plus no Angus or Hardcastle. This reduced our pace and made it more of a battle. To see them rise to that challenge was however extremely rewarding and made the manner of the win unusually special.

I would still have donated the points in exchange for a First round FA Cup tie but when all is said and done the break now assumes real importance. Strange that a couple of weeks ago we were chomping at the bit to get at Dover and rueing the break in momentum. Now we are all thankful of another non playing weekend. It just shows you what injuries and suspensions can do to a team like ours with limited resources. A season in the NL is full of attrition and I suspect that we are going to have to have some luck with the squad to see it through successfully. Key to that will be keeping the "backbone" of the team on the field. By backbone I really mean Dixon-Platt-Taylor-Rooney and Quigley. The remainder of the squad (talented as they are) hang off that spine and are to some extent interchangeable. I would also like to give a shout for Patrick Brough who is looking increasing competent in the back four. Doesn't get much of a mention but thought he played well on Saturday and has definitely improved since turning up.

Extremely time consuming task. Glad to see our former cameraman/editor/producer has got his business flying, much deserved!

Yes I’m sure, We were very fortunate to have the highlights for so long, just a pity with such a fantastic season we are having, the highlights are not being captured in the same way. As I have said previously, some things are worth paying for as this is one way to promote the club, interviews, highlights etc. We are missing all this in this very good season.

You can do some decent interviews on a decent phone.

Are there no media students want to get involved it's such a shame the highlights and videos promote the club

Jason Taylor suffered a fractured eye socket and cheekbone during the game. Hope Jason mends well and quickly.💙

Wonder how long he’ll be out for; such a vital player for us, big blow that

That's a disaster! He'll be out for a minimum of 5 weeks if things go well. If he has any eyesight problems could be much longer.

One position we don't really have an adequate replacement. Surely Evatt will be dipping into the loan market during this little break.

You may be right though IE has shown that he will only 'dip in' if the 'right' player is available. The loss of Jason Taylor is a very serious blow and am we sure that we all wish him well and a speedy recovery.
