Well that was fantastic, from support to the team. NC were never in it, and these are one of the better teams in the league but they hardly troubled us at all...& when they did the Barrow defence always seemed to be able to deal with it.
MotM....that’s a hard one as every single player was fantastic, at a push - Angus or Quigley. Quigley must be a nightmare to play against.

Would’ve happily taken a point pre KO...three, in the stuff of dreams.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

Hardcastle MOM for me, ran himself into ground.
Think only reason he came off was amount of work he did in 70 minutes.

Only thing that could possibly go against us for the crowd next week is [SwearFilter] festival in ulverston.... Much more entertainment at HS
Christmas light switch on in town too
Just win 4-0 then get dior Angus to switch the lights on.

Hardcastle for me too but they were all superb. Day of dreams today. Still absolutely buzzing.

Have we been top of this league before or is this a first for us? :skill:
We were top after the 2nd game of the 2008-9 season - the 4-3 win at Altrincham.
Is that the only time? Have we ever been top after, say, 10+ games?

There's also a Santa Dash in Barrow town centre on Saturday afternoon.

I think we were top after the opening game of the season victory against Havant last year.

I think this is right. Being top at this level in November is definitely new though. What’s more, thanks to Bury’s demise we are now in the top 92 clubs in the country for the first time since 1972.

Well, we were briefly top after beating Oxford 3-0 but that was because it was a Friday night game (first game off the season)

Regardless of what's on around the area next week there is no reason why we can't get 2500 plus through the gates.
I didn't go yesterday but I was in Darwen/Blackburn wearing my shirt with pride and because of technology, I was able to listen to Adams great commentary and by Eck, the locals knew the score too!!
With 3 enormous yelps after each goal and a silly jigging running thing I had going on, the locals were soon as interested in our result too.

This club currently is something else, possibly even better than the Wilkie era and it really could be a season of dreams if it carries on like it is!

Loud n proud next week peeps, all bluebirds are blue :scarf:

It is the first time we have ever been top of the national league/conference premier/step 5 at this stage of the season.

In terms of points this is our 2nd highest points return that we have had from 20games.
Only the 38 under Paul Cox in 2016-17 beats it.
Match day 21 that time was a 3-0 win against Guiseley so fingers crossed we can get the 3pts Saturday against Barnet to keep on par with that start

For a moment I wasn't sure when I woke up;I'd just dreamt that Barrow, roared on by nearly 500, had gone top of the league by mullering Notts County 3-0 at Meadow Lane.
