Made hard work of it in the 2nd half but title winning sides make a habit of winning games without playing at their best, unfortunately won't be there on Tuesday due to work but hopefully another decent crowd and a big win against Chorley!
Heaven is a place on earth, we prefer to call it Holker Street :scarf: popular side since 2002! :scarf:

After being on top for 85 mins last 5 was heart in mouth. Other than that we controlled the game and had plenty of chances. Their keeper played well. Rooney- outstanding game

Scott Loach made this a contest - some brilliant saves stopped us going 3/4/5 goals up. It wasn't as nervy as the last 10 mins of the Sutton game, but it's impressive that we can hang on to victories instead of the typical Barrow collapse.

Probably goal of the season so far...we honestly expected that to head towards the corner flag, how he managed to loop that in was amazing.
Their keeper had a very good game, he stopped it from being four or five nil. A decent keeper.
Bit flat early on, bit nervy at the end but scrapping for wins is what you have to do if you want to be genuine contenders, and we are definitely genuine contenders to go up to the FL...never thought I’d be able to say that.

Took a few newbies today including a contractor from NI and they’re all already asking about Tuesday.

We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

We played some tremendous football at times today, opening them up with at least three good 1 on 1 blocks from their keeper, all of them from moves down the left, there was also two or three shots placed wide and a first half effort that if Quigs sliding in had just managed to make contact it would have been game over. We really shouldn’t be talking about scrapping for this win.
