Im still not a fan of Glad All Over. Not for me at all. Some in the Main Stand join in enthusiastically but my watching brief over to the Pop side, I don’t see too many joining in with the hand claps.

That said, it remains one of the biggest challenges- to create an atmosphere at home games to support this great side. They deserve it.
Apparently it's Evatt that requested 'Glad All Over'!
It was, they play it at Blackpool.

Not a fan, myself.

Probably every football club in the country wishes their home atmosphere was as good as it is away

Good win, we are top and playing great football. Over 2000 there. These are the days, brothers and sisters.

IE was on about atmosphere off radio too. Hard to disagree. Its good to see a few more young uns joining in. We've always struggled at home vocally. Most teams do. Like it or not, drink plays a part for many.

Shout out to the bloke on the Popular Side listening to his radio app on his phone which was so loud you could here it word for word 10+ yards away. Such a shame that earphones have been uninvented.
His phone??!!

Sounded like a ghetto blaster on his shoulder.

Old school. (At least it wasn't Radio 6 Music he was listening to.)

Good win today, me and my mates did try to get people singing some chants but it seems like most or not the majority are not interested in raising their voices in the wilkie stand past the trust shop, did get the crossbar going after though haha. Need a drum and some smoke grenades, get a proper atmosphere going! apart from that what a good day, props for taylor coming on with his zorro mask and going straight for a header, proper player and made of stone still top of the league and onto chorley.
If you get smoke grenades, you’ll end up in court and get banned from the ground. Sorry to spoil your day :scarf: :scarf:
And of course if anyone was stupid enough to bring smoke grenades into the ground, it could also put the club in serious trouble.

Points deductions, financial penalties, etc. Do we really want to risk that ?

I thought there was an air of expectation at the game yesterday, as if we were obviously going to win and the crowd were just there to witness it. We often need a shite ref and a few dodgy decisions to get things moving - perhaps we just request Mr Johnson every week?

There was one club, many years ago, who tried to create an atmosphere by playing the noise of a crowd over their PA system. It was a bit of a giveaway though when the teams ran out to the sound of 50,000 voices - and an almost empty ground!

They were told not to do it again.

A few photos

Excellent photos and doesn't it just illustrate how often players of either side continue to hold players of the opposing team and continually grab their shirts? There's hardly a picture of the match where players of one team haven't got hold of an opposing player or his shirt!

Got away with a smoke bomb, which didn't go off properly, at Notts County but at least we now know who threw it. Quick response team staring at us for the rest of the game
Sometimes you just need to hoof it :scarf:

Perhaps a more appropriate Dave Clark Five song right now would be 'Catch us if you can'.
