brilliant attendance onwards and upwards its a shootout with solihull i think. If our squad stays relatively injury free we are going to have the best chance ever to return to the EFL COYB

A great 70 minutes after being 0-2 down - Kay was at fault for their second, leaving the ball to go out for a goal kick, but made up for it with his strike and a very good performance.

Main negative was the pass after pass after pass from Hird that never found a man, and Byron's shocking first touch. Platt, Rooney and Hardcastle all really stepped up when we needed to get back in the game. Quigley's tantrum might earn him a bit of a bollocking.

I don't think we were robbed by the officials as such, but they missed a hell of a lot. Maybe they bottled a red card on a couple of occasions though.

Not too deflated having seen the other results tonight.

Anyone listen to the interview with IE? basically said "he's not too disappointed, though a few of his players weren't at to the races today, Chorley are a very good side who he's done the usual research on, they've just been on a bad run of late".
We're still top of the league, onwards and upwards.

If the commentators were correct then Barrow should have had a penalty and Chorley should have had a player sent off for a second booking plus Barrow hit the bar and the post so we should have still managed a win even after being 2-0 down. It a long time since we had a team which would have managed to pull 2 goals back although we've had a few which could lose when 2 or even more goals ahead! After 11 wins from the last 12 games there was always going to be a game when things didn't go quite right and, hopefully, this is just a blip. I certainly hope so as Maidenhead is a game close enough for me to get to!

Give Chorley some credit, they were worth a point. This is what we have to deal with now every team gunning for us trying to knock us off the top.

Happy that we had it within ourselves to get something after a bad start. Every team will have the odd hiccup and bad result. Onwards and upwards.

FWIW they are better than the table suggests.
Popular side since '03.

Not really a bad run of late as they've won their last 2 matches before tonight! Just a bad run for most of the season until then but they are obviously improving.

It happens. Nothing wrong with that from Quigley it was frustration at being subbed. We all beg for players that want to show some passion and desire to play for this football club. There you have it.

I think a lot of supporters underestimated Chorley tonight coming into the game. They certainly took advantage of a poor Barrow side out of the blocks. We weren't at the races at all tonight, the likes of Quigley and Angus were kept very quiet when they were on the pitch and the final ball seemed to lack that cutting edge. Having said that, we were unlucky with the two efforts off the crossbar. I have to say their number three, Adam Blakeman, was excellent and limited Barry's contributions significantly. He intercepted pretty much everything. Credit to them, they'll certainly take a point and for us, it's a point gained you could argue based on the context of the game. A point better off than we were on our closest rivals before tonight, too.
