Excellent today, against what has to be said was dreadful opposition.

We controlled the game from start to finish, with the only slight concern being how many chances we missed. It was almost embarrassing how easy it was for us at times, I struggle to remember seeing us so dominant away from home in the recent past. Rooney was fantastic, he literally did not give the ball away on a single occasion and some of his passing was a joy to watch. White and Hardcastle were also excellent alongside him and it was those 3 that set the tone for our dominance.

Quigley and Angus caused no end of problems in attack and their movement was exceptional. Angus really should have had a hat-trick today.

Defensively we were very rarely troubled, and looked in complete control.

Apart from the missed chances, it was as close to a perfect performance as you're likely to see.
I agree with every word and watching Rooney yesterday really emphasizes what a superb manager Ian Evatt has become. Rooney's previous record would have suggested that he was a player drifting towards the end of his career but to watch him now he looks like a player full of enthusiasm and is showing really exceptional ability. You could probably go through the whole team and pick out players who have blossomed under Ian Evatt and you can tell from the enthusiasm they show when a goal is scored just how much they are enjoying playing this type of football which many of them, no doubt, have never been asked to play previously.

Just tried it on my iPad and no problem.
Could be you need to get rid of the junk in your cache.
A Google search will reveal ways to sort it out.
Good luck!

What was the attendance today, inc away fans?
1,239 according to the Maidenhead local paper. No segregation so so separate figure for Barrow supporters, but 100+ I'd say.

Extended highlights now up on Maidenhead's YouTube channel.

Noticeably, still no video of our match at Notts County on their channel. Wonder why that could be?

Arvo I looked for them a few days after the Notts Co game. It turned out that you have to be a paid subscriber to see their highlights. Unfortunately I didn't keep a record of the links so it would have to be searched for again.

https://youtu.be/bYVSS5xSWis the County highlights are from 2:18 on this, not comprehensive highlights but better than paying that subscription
Heaven is a place on earth, we prefer to call it Holker Street :scarf: popular side since 2002! :scarf:

Thanks, both. I guess the subscription thing explains a lot. I always watch the Vanarama roundup either on the BT site or on YouTube, so I've seen the goals from that show. That's the one that they finally uploaded about a full week after the matches, as I recall.

If you can arrange with my boss to have next Saturday off, I'll be at Holker Street in a heart beat.
Leave it with me, I'll have a word with her/him.
Cheers Elaine! :D
