Disaster, would rather have lost, last thing we need
Not really. We'll just play a virtual reserve team again.

Just listened to Evatts interview; sounds like some of these won’t be here after January

Play the replay on Jan 7th and tell Dover to be ready for a Jan 11th game if we lose,Dover are out of the Trophy, but could be short notice to book train tickets.
They'll only buy tickets to Crewe anyway. They get severe nose bleeds if they venture further north.

Link to "Ins and Outs" thread. Feels like he is intending to strengthen. If so tonight may have served a useful purpose.

Another chance for the youth to impress I guess?
That's the only positive I can see, oh and maybe the extra gate money too.

Extra games worry me, seen too many times for clubs with small squads can be a problem unless we take a gamble on the kids! A young team of togetherness (like the first team) battling and winning, I would be inclined to get em all up for the cup and leave the first team to concentrate on getting us out of this ever ending nightmare of a league!!
If the young lads do well, it's an opportunity to progress into our first team or a shop window opportunity to sell on..

Well done to Atherton for showing that it really doesn't matter what league your in, it's about how much you want it and any team can beat anyone on the day.
So well played.

It means the squad players get another run out. Cant see this game being played until well into January - perhaps the Dover game is going to be postponed again! On second thoughts they wouldn't have turned up anyway they's have lost their way somewhere around Birmingham
I think it's most likely to be played on 2nd round day
I really really hope it isn't played on tue 7th

Great interview from the boss, i'm glad he's looking at getting rid/bringing in new faces. It also comes across that he will be here for at least the rest of the season, he's so proud and well supported by the club that it would have to be a massive club to prise him away
