Dont think its been mentioned but the mistake that created the opportunity for Quigley to score yesterday was made by Kyle Jamieson. I actually liked Jamieson when he was with us because he's a real trier. But he did have a serious misjudgement issue in him. I can recall him making similar critical errors when playing for us at Maidstone and Ebbsfleet last season. Both resulted in goals and cost us 6 points. Seems he gave us three of those back yesterday (notwithstanding the fantastic Quiqley finish).
I was never impressed with Jameson the few times I saw him. Not a bad player but nowhere near as good as Dan Jones as I saw those 2 playing in central defence together and also not as good as Hird and not in the same league as Platt. If he was here now would be handy as a decent reserve but I certainly wouldn't prefer him to Hird, Brough or Platt.

The mistake was by Lewis Montrose the Fylde Captain
He was the one who made the back pass not Kyle Jameson

Fylde fan commentary,

Hope to see extended highlights of this game. Rooney half way effort, the one off the post, and the chance they had when he stuck the header wide. Most of all though, to see our fans and players at the end celebrating a great win together.

Poor lad behind the bar on the concourse, I don’t think had ever quenched such great thirsts before! He stuck to the task manfully though, and even got a mate in for the final five minutes. Bet he needed a drink after his ordeal. 😅

Although Williams was one of a few pantomime villains today, was glad to see him come and applaud us fans at the end of the game, not many former players I can think of would do that
Moussa Diarra did that when we played at Woking earlier this season. Good to see.

That is a fine goal from Quigley, taking it round the keeper and a first time strike from a really tight angle- gets better every time I see it.

I really really enjoyed the day. Not a bad stadium at this level with the facilities available, but a poor pitch. Not a patch on Holker Street. The Barrow supporters were absolutely magnificent - not just numbers, but the noise that was generated throughout. Thought we we struggled a little bit for 20 mins to start with, but then got stronger and stronger throughout the match and it was a great example of why we are top of the league. Magnificent performance, and not a single player that could be criticised. The comments from Haythornthwaite in the programme were totally unnecessary, not befitting the chairman of any club, sour, lacked any integrity and were a demonstration of the very poor quality of a human being who you would expect to know better. I have utter disrespect for him now; dare say it's shared within football now.

I thought Brown was poor in attack but great defending and Taylor wasn’t good but gradually got more in to the match towards the end of the second half
