Well summed-up there mate.audigex wrote:Good response from him - like him on the pitch or not, he seems like a decent guy to me. He's one of those players who's always going to split opinion here, but in my eyes he did a job.

That is an insult to these guys in particular Bolland, ashamed.Reg wrote:Slightly disappointed that we haven't taken a punt on Moyo.
Couldn't care less about the rest.
Smith was becoming a problem. You only have to read his tweets to see that he's a bit of a [SwearFilter].

Re: Released
P.S. As a side note on Phil Bolland.Ordered a Barrow away shirt in January .But with the Corals takeover of CK it was hard to get the away shirt. Martin told me i could either get my £43 back or wait until end of season and claim the shirt of my choice from the actual playing staff.Well now that the season is over i have just been in touch and am awaiting the arrival of our captains playing shirt.Well chuffed. Honored to be able to wear it.Thanks Martin and staff. Hope your enjoying better health now Martin. .

Tony Keens been spotted wearing a Bolland shirt and rolling around in mud
Steve Herbert supports the nob theory - Saturday 4th February 2012.
If this bus crashed and everybody on it died, Barrow football would end - Daz Boyle, Boston away, August 9th 2014.

Re: Released
Do you know what, firstly I thought this guy was one of our best performers this season, secondly we have had a selection of lesser players on the side lines this term on pay, would it not have made sense to pay as you play or enlist as a back room part time player as he still had plenty to offer, let's hope we are not going to see the galoot that was on loan earlier in the season at centre back make a return as at least Bolly could play, Barrows very own Sami Hypia
Re: Released
Why would he want to go on pay as you play? People on this forum have some funny ideas of what the players will accept, sometimes.
If my boss turned round and said "I'll pay you on the days I decide to bring you in to work, but you can't work for anyone else and you don't get any choice in how much you come into work." then I'd tell him where to stick his job.

Would you advise your lad to sign as 'pay as you play'?Footyfan wrote:Do you know what, firstly I thought this guy was one of our best performers this season, secondly we have had a selection of lesser players on the side lines this term on pay, would it not have made sense to pay as you play or enlist as a back room part time player as he still had plenty to offer, let's hope we are not going to see the galoot that was on loan earlier in the season at centre back make a return as at least Bolly could play, Barrows very own Sami Hypia

And he would of jumped at that chance wouldn't he?Footyfan wrote:would it not have made sense to pay as you play
He'll be off to a BSN or perhaps even BSP club who would pay probably equal the amount what we pay if not more.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

Some glowing comments from Chester fans after his appearance in a charity match last weekend. Wouldn't surprise me if he finishes up back there. And remember we have a couple of unsigned ex-Chester players as well. We're in for a sticky patch before August.

This is Football not your 9-5.you cant connect the two.Plenty of players are on pay as you play. Why are you so shocked at this suggestion and revelation?audigex wrote:Why would he want to go on pay as you play? People on this forum have some funny ideas of what the players will accept, sometimes.
