Great win. We did not give them any time with the ball and played with a sheer determination to win. I actually thought we played the better football as well could have been 2 maybe 3 up but for fine saves by their keeper. I don't know why we big these teams up. Danny L Rowe impressed, Flynny, Skelts and Peo getting better and better, Hessey solid when he came on as well. Man of the match- Not sure who was awarded MOM but there was some great performances out there but for me- James Owen. He was breaking up everything and was everywhere.

Fans were great today- really got behind the team. Luton fans quiet- nothing on the pitch to spark them into life.

2nd and 5th but it feels like 1st and 2nd.

Luton could have gone level with Grimsby winning games in hand, we just stopped that today and are now only 2 points (3 points with goal difference) from safety. They were fantastic today, shame that Luton's only real chance in the first half resulted in our new defender having to be subbed off with dislocated shoulder. All credit to O'Donnell for playing on, impressive debut until the injury. He will be out for a few weeks now. How poor were Luton for not taking advantage of a centre half that could not jump and was holding his arm as still as he could. A part from that 1st half chance that resulted in O'Donnell and Hurst colliding Luton saw few chances in front of goal. Barrow had the better chances and their keeper had to make some tidy saves. Hurst nursing an injured shoulder from the earlier collision did well collecting and punching clear, you could see him holding his shoulder when he had to dive on the ball.

Talked to one of their supporters on the way out and he said that he is fed up with the club thinking they are big boys----also said we wanted it more and should have been more nice guy in defeat "fortress holker street"

Spoke to Dan O,donnell after halftime said his shoulder had pop out but gone back in, very sore.Going for X-Ray tonight see damage was hoping no breaks and probably sidelined for 10 days.

Hero to Zero in a week?

Just reading some of what is being put on their board and the Luton manager Buckle seems to lay the blame for the defeat 100% at the feet of the Tylor the keeper. I think the Luton supporters do have cause to question Buckles interpretation of events. It does sound like their manager is clueless.

I seem to recall Boyes was given acres of spaces by 2 defenders, McNulty one of them who could have cut out the chance but failed to do so. Both defenders just stood and watched, then re-acted late, the keeper Tylor was forced to come off his line to stop Boyes bringing it down and shooting. He was lobbed in doing so with a rather high lob that no keeper would have caught. The defenders in front of him were at fault for the whole thing as far as I could see, Tylor was left in a damned if you do, damned if you don't situation. I think he choose the better option but got beaten by a good goal scorer. Boyes lob was high and could have missed but it was a class finish from a good forward in hindsight.

McNulty was poor today, he did enough but Luton will not get promoted with him if he plays like he did today. Bayliss said post match that he would still have him here if he could. I guess he is right, McNulty is a good defender but he was very average today and could have saved his team (on his debut?) but failed.

At the other end Luton offered little and did not look like they would have scored so they would not likely have won the game, and a draw was the most they could have hoped for.

EDIT: Scratch that, it's Taylor he is blaming, not Tyler. McNulty was partly to blame as well so he still has it wrong. These teams having players with similar names Danny L Rowe and Danny M Rowe
