Next two games

Two away games coming up, what's your minimum points tally? two away draws is not a bad return normally but at this stage for me anyway 3 points would be the minimum i would be looking for. Your thoughts?

We'll get at least a point at Alfreton. Hopefully get another at Forest Green.

To keep the momentum going I think I'd be ok with a point from each, if I was going to be greedy it'd be nice to pinch all three tomorrow & one on Saturday.

I've felt for a few weeks now that things were starting to turn in our favour - looking the better team & just missing out on a point against the team on top of the table last week being a good example (yes, if we want to look for negatives we lost)
I just feel as though things are going to start going right for us at a crucial time while others around us struggle for any sort of good form.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

I expect nothing at Forest Green, we need a point tomorrow

You look at the home games coming up and it is definitely in our hands so I think 2 draws would be OK as long as a couple of the other teams around get 6.

3 at Alfreton and none at FG. 3 Points will be a good return from these 2.
Stood behind Ray Wilkie for years. Best education I ever had.

Forest Green who are at home to Grimsby tomorrow night are not in the best of form at the moment.
They have not scored in their last 3 games collecting only 1 point.
They have only scored more than a single goal in 2 of their last 11 games.
This may be a game we can get something from if we can keep it tight at the back as of late.

Betting on next two games is not good for the blood pressure.

The way i look at it - we have 12 games. Divide those into 4 groups of 3 games. If in each group we win 1, draw 1, lose 1 we will end up with 52 points and that will clearly be enough.

So the most important thing we must do is to beat Stockport next week. If we can take a point from the next two games as well then we remain on track.

1 point from the next two game is fine - any more is a bonus and releases pressure from later matches.

Alfreton are quite a good outfit,2 defeat for me.I do believe we have enough winnable games at home to keep us up.

I hear what you're saying and I hope we can win those home games but the sad fact so far this season is that we have won more games and gained more points away from home than at Holker Street.

Playing at home - even against so called weak sides - is no guarantee of points.

We really have to try to get maximum points in every game - home or away. Fairly obvious I know but nevertheless true.
